DOUGH&co Woodfired Pizza Colchester in Colchester

Pretty nice pizza but if you want authenticity then Cuckoo Dough nearby is slightly better than Dough&co as it's less wet. Love the interior design in dough&co though and the fact that you can see the pizza oven

My order arrived within 30 minutes of me placing my order. The Pizza was delicious and you could tell every ingredient was fresh. But the show stealer was the - salted caramel doughnuts. They were so fluffy and light. Honestly great value for money as portions was generous. I just wish we had one in London. I ordered from the Colchester branch, whilst staying in Colchester.

I reckon the best pizzas in Colchester are made by dough&co, very discreet location and easy to walk past but well worth finding it. They could do with some more variety in their starters but there is no reason I won't be coming back.

The food was absolutely delicious and honestly one of the best pizzas I've eaten in Colchester.Well cooked, fresh, lots of toppings. Portions were great too.The service was super friendly and the food was brought out at an incredible speed (without rushing us). We sat in the downstairs cave area so it was super cosy and intimate.

Booked this venue last minute. 👌What a lovely last minute decision..😋The staff very friendly, welcoming and polite.❤The food was tasty, and delivered to our table quickly..🍕I had a pizza 'the nuts one' this was not something I would normally choose.. it was a lovely combo..👌I loved the added extras in the ladies toilets.If you haven't eaten here before, why not? Locals or visiting people need to look it up and book ASAP.. 😊

Great Italian food at a nice and cozy place in the middle of town. Really liked their wood fire pizza. However, it was a bit too expensive given the prices of other nearby restaurants. The service was good, however the seating was kind of uncomfortable. Additionally, the lighting could be improved as it’s a bit dim.

The staff here were so accomodating to our young family. The food is fresh and delicious. We have an italian in the family and even she thought the pizza was great!

I got a delivery from Dough&co for the first time, thinking it would be nice to try despite the very expensive prices. The food was barely warm when it arrived and had to heat it up in the oven, although that is not the restaurant's fault. I got a mushroom pizza with ham. The dough was quite nice considering it is very hard to find a wood fired oven restaurant around. The ham was also tasty. However, the mushrooms were not fresh as advertised. The mushrooms were the ones marinated in oil and left an unpleasant smell and aftertaste on the pizza. I also ordered some strawberry and cream doughnuts but the cream was melted and made the doughnuts soggy and inedible... Unfortunately, they ended up in the bin like my money.

Great as usual my wife and I have been here twice now and each time we've had a great meal you can’t beat a pizza cooked in a real pizza oven so much better than other brand names i could mention.... melt in your mouth bread everything is full of flavour here highly recommended
