Favoloso in Colchester

The food was absolutely stunning. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Such a lovely touch to have the chef come round to ask us how our food was. Recommend all day every day.

Came across this restaurant by chance last saturday and how lucky was we. The atmosphere was warm and friendly the staff was polite and helpful the interior was designed to make you feel like you was on holiday and the food was fantastic. we both tried food we had not eaten before and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Great value for the money and cant wait to take the rest of the family back

Excellent. Thank you very much for treating us so well. Favoloso indeed. Food was super tasty and unconventional, relatively small but well catered wine selection, the atmosphere transport you to south Europe, the aromas coming out the kitchen help.

When we arrived the Restaurant wasn’t that busy, We waited over 10 minutes to be asked for a drink.When the drink arrived it was the last pint in the barrel and was completely flat.The food was over priced and had no flavour, the meatballs tasted and looked like they were from a cheap supermarket.We will not be returning, poor service, poor Italian food.

The food is amazing,very tasty,so much choice,service was excellent,atmosphere is so lovely can't wait to come back !Best meal I've had in ages😁

Why have I waited so long to try this place! Agnes was our lovely waitress, the food was incredible. Calamari was the best I’ve ever had. Main sea bass and jumbo prawns was awesome came with some nice veg, and the dessert passion fruit & lemon sorbet with house limoncello poured over 👌🏽 Will definitely be back to try more seafood

Wow. Lived in Colchester for 5 years and no idea how I missed this gem. Great atmosphere and decor. Makes you feel like you are in the Med. Food was world class and I'm definitely coming back. The crab starter was out of this world and lobster main amazing.

Ristorante Favoloso is a brilliant place to take someone on a date. The atmosphere here is INCREDIBLE and the food is amazing! I was absolutely astounded by the quality and service! The staff are really lovely people and they're always very helpful. One of the best family run restaurants in Colchester!
