Foresters Arms in Colchester

Popped in for a swift pint whilst heading back home walking my dog Lola. Very welcoming, staff and customers alike. Resident dog is friendly, unlike mine, but no issues. Will be heading back for food as I've heard the Sunday roasts are the business.

Great cosy pub. Friendly clientele and staff. Some music and events.

Have wanted to come back here for some time and we were very lucky to get in today, fairly last minute booking and were not disappointed. Amazing home cooked roast beef with the most amazing gravy. Sadly missed out on the cauliflower cheese but that’s clearly because it’s so good. So we’ll have to come back to sample it another time!!

Great Dog friendly pub with friendly people and live music, also has a resident dog and cat so definitely one for animal lovers, no Peroni on tap but they have Amstel on tap so a close 2nd

Called in at the Foresters Arms tonight while in the area . If happened to be steak night so my wife and I had steak and a sweet and got a free bottle of wine . The steak "Ribeye" was cooked well and the meal was excellent. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble . I would visit again and would highly recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely couple of pints outside this really friendly pub before the fireworks tonight two really nice blokes behind the bar, will definitely return to try the food

We had a lovely afternoon in the Foresters with friends. Lucy kept the drinks flowing, while Louise prepared delicious meals which were then served by Linda. It's a really nice old pub, made all the better by the wonderful staff.

Had a fabulous afternoon yesterday. Linda serving the food. Lucy serving drinks and Louise cooked the most amazing cauliflower & Lentil pie. When I asked for cheesy mash they said your wish is my command. Perfect. 3 hours we spent in the pub. Perfect.
