Mcdonalds in Colchester

After just eat driver had marked as delivered and nothing had turned up, I called the restaurant and spoke to a manger called Rob, he was amazing at sorting everything out called just eat as well and they were unhelpful but Rob called me back and asked if I could come and collect and he will put our order through again! Amazing customer skills! Well done Rob at leisure pool site :)

Absolutely shocking service from staff and management. Spoken to rudely so I asked to speak to the manager, the manager came over who was also rude to me. So I asked for the staffs name who served me and the manager told me his name was Paul when actually his name was John. I asked to see his name tag and said I refuse to leave until I saw it. The manager told me he didn’t have one when moments earlier I saw him hide it, he showed me his tag and shouted I don’t care I’m leaving anyway.

Been here a few times, but oh my god the Sunday staff are godawful.Few months ago, they gave our food to someone else and left us waiting for 30 mins, we had to order twice and even then they forgot the sauces we requested.Today they were chatting with each other and practically ignoring me even though they were meant to be telling me where to wait, I get home and they've not only forgotten the salsa that goes with the mozzarella sticks, the cheeseburger they gave me was made with two bottom bunsUseless bunch

Ordered a BBQ chicken legend meal. Milkshake and chips lovely. Not keen on the BBQ chicken legend burger. Nothing to it. Was expecting a bit more in the burger eg, tomato, onion.1 brown bun, crispy chicken few lettuce leaves and BBQ sauce. Bit disappointed

What's not to like? Most McDonald's around the country are the same and that's the reassuring thing when you pop into a new venue. You know what you are getting.When I'm travelling, tired and marooned in a strange location late at night McDonald's is always my destination of choice.This one was no different and I'm happy to give 4stars.

I'm not a big fan of fast food. But having said that when ever I have been the orders have been correct and food was hot. Service is quick. Staff are pretty good.

We ordered a chicken nugget meal and it came with no chips but the best thing is the Happy meal box was empty apart from the book! So you can imagine my sons face to open it to see it was empty and Uber eats gives me £5 refund... I mean I don't want a refund but I swear people here just can't do their jobs, the treat I got for my son has just turned into a massive upset.I have had nothing but issues mainly my food always being cold but the missing meal I had to finally write a review because this is a joke and try explaining to a toddler what happened.

Ok had enough now !I suggest that the area manager either does something about the attitude at this branch or find a new job ! Maybe take store managers and staff with you , to do something other than not bother to care for your customers.So for past two weeks these guys have served up cold FRYS and BURGERS and BOX OF 20 COLD SHRIVELLED NUGGETS ON 3 SEPERATE OCCASSSIONS Via their drive thru.So ,WARNING DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COMPLAIN TO STAFF OR MANAGEMENT OR THEY WILL DO YOUR FOOD WORSE NEXT TIME .TODAYS STUNT ,TWENTY GERKINS (AS WE ASK FOR EXTRA ) SO THIS TIME OVER 20 GERKINS ,ON EACH OFTHE CHEESEBURGER AND HAMBURGER FOR OUR CHILDREN ,THE BURGERS ARRIVED STONE COLD .OH YES AND MY DAUGHTERS HAMBURGER HAD BEEN COVERED IN SALT TOO ( CONGRATULATIONS THATS AN AUTISTIC CHILD ) LARGE FRIES ,4 LARGE BOXES BUT LESS THAN HALF OF THE BOX WAS FULL OF FRIES ,STONE CILD AS USUAL .DISGUSTED AT YOUR ATTITUDES ,OBVIOUSLY NOTHING MORE THAN A SCHOOL PLAYGROUND ATTITIDE .WE STILL HAVE COVID AND MY GIRLS STILL HAVE TO SHEILD AS THEY ARE LEVEL 3 HEALTH CARE AND UNDER GOSH .MY 7 YEAR OLD SUFFERS FTOM CVS AND THEIRS NOT ALOT SHE CAN EAT THAT DOESNT MAKE HER FEEL SICK ,BUT SHE DOES LOVE MCDONALDS NUGGETS ,HER CONSULTANT SAID IF THIS IS WHAT SHE CAN EAT AND KEEP DOWN LET HER HAVE THEM ,SHE IS PUMP FED MOSTLY .SO I HOPE YOU ALL FEEL PROUD OF YOURSRLVES .THIS IS PEOPLES FOOD, THAT THEY HA E TO EAT ,THEY HAVE PAID FOR IT ,FOR ALOT OF PEOPLE ITS A RARE TREAT .HOW WOULD YOU FEEL TO BE TREATED SO SHABBILY, ESPECIALLY WITH COVID AROUND AND TRUSTING PEOPLE TO COOK AND SERVE YOUR FOOD .FACT IS SOME CHILDREN DONT HAVE MANY TREATS OR THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TOO .IM SHOCKED AT YOUR ATTITUDE AND UPSET .WONT BE BACK .

Used the McDonald's App to order our food. Was quick easy and simple. Placed the order whilst at home then drove to the drive-thru and gave our meal code, collected our order and enjoyed eating it. Very easy to use and gave you the whole menu so a better choice as you get pictures of every item too. Would definitely use the App again and are repeat Mcdonald customers, we enjoy the fastness when we can't be bothered to cook or are on a road trip. Service isn't always perfect or order might miss a few items but on other visits you might get exceptional service and a little bonus of an extra chicken nugget 😊👍

Went here with some family (7 people including me). Staff are incredibly rude, food came late. Cups are poorly made, they are supposed to be hermetically sealed, however when we lifted them up the coke lifted up on the edge and spilled on my brand new £25 white hoodie and my dad's new £40 white levi top. The double BBQ quarter pounder with cheese is not worth the extra money compared to a normal double quarter pound with cheese, you might as well get one and add one of the three BBQ dips then it will cost you less and you will get more sauce. (have photographic evidence of how pitiful the amount of sauce was) such a scam.
