Steak was good, cooked perfectly, service was hit and miss and it was only half full. Only weird thing was our table and another near by both at same time laughing that the fries are basically McDonald's fries... Identical...which is not ideal view to have with a £30 steak. Shame as good otherwise

Went here Saturday evening for a birthday celebration. It was my first visit, unfortunately some of my triple cooked chips were a bit raw in the middle but the rest of the food was lovely. The young lady Breeze who looked after us was fantastic, so attentive, always checking on us to make sure everything was ok. She was really professional and really friendly. A real asset to her employer. Would visit again purely for the amazing service.

Having been very disappointed with the service on two previous visits, I was very reluctant to return here. However, my partner persuaded me and we went here at the weekend. Luckily we were looked after by Breeze ( I think she said that was her name) we received brilliant friendly service, she was very attentive and nothing was too much, even with how extremely busy it was in there. Really help make it a lovely evening for us. Advise to the manager, get Breeze to help with the training of staff.

Genuinely awful service and food, gone really downhill after being one of our favourite places in the past.Prebooked for a special occasion and we had crazy slow service (over an hour to get our mains after needing to order in advance because there was supposedly a hard 2 hour limit on the table.) we had overcooked steaks and undercooked chicken, wrong meals brought out, bad food taken back to the kitchen and no replacement ever brought out.Saw people complaining and walking out everywhere.At least we got a table. One group turned up for a pre booked table, waited 2 hours at the bar and left hungry. Although they were probably better off wherever they ended up.

Reservation for 6 made a week in advance. Shown to sofa area and ordered drinks whilst table made available. Drinks ordered, waited 25 mins, only 3 drinks delivered, shown to table and waited a further 15 mins for remaining cocktails to arrive. Upon arrival, all 3 cocktails of variations were completely flat, no bubbles! Sent back and ordered sparkling wine which was spot on. Starters (crab) soggy and tasteless, scallops were spot on and good. Main course, (lamb) fab, monk fish ordered but told after 10 mins they’d run out so ordered ribeye which was ok. Skate came out not fully cooked which was sent back, my husband was totally put off by this so did not reorder. Drinks so slow, we went to bar a number of times and chased up waiting staff. Totally appalling evening, so disappointed. Staff extremely apologetic but, out of their control. No toilet paper in ladies!! Why? This is all basic stuff. Lots of complaints from other tables also, what a terrible shame for a such beautiful venue. Would I eat there again, definitely no, The owners need to clearly up their game and have adequate staff that know what they’re doing. The pianist was lovely.

Place was empty …..few minutes later was given a table expecting the mad rush !Two hours later still only 4 tables in service ????Food ……. 35 minutes for a bread board after asking where our food wasOffered ice with our red wine 🍷 politely declined ! Realise new staff being trained which is fine everyone needs to learn but order being taken wrong as well topped it off !Roast dinner cold - wrong vegAsked for everything but red cabbageGot guess what …….everything including Red cabbage ! And mash that isn’t even on offer 😂Waitress that served us saved the day by being so polite !What was Our favourite restaurant is now our worst in one fail swoop 👏

An up market dining experience with friendly polite staff. Ambient lighting and excellent well cooked and presented food. Service was a tad slow but gave us plenty of time to catch up. We were well over the 2 hour time allotted. We will return.

This was our first visit and pretty much everything was great. The food was fantastic, the oysters were the best we ever had, loved the desserts, beautiful modern interior design, I liked the background music, professional and welcoming service. The only thing I would mention to be cared for better was the cleanliness of the ladies toilet which in my opinion was not compatible with the standard of this restaurant.

Great restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. The decor is amazing, food quality top notch and the staff were wonderful. It's not a cheap night out but worth every penny.

Friendly, relaxed welcome. Extremely polite and helpful staff throughout.When we were asked if the food was to our liking, because I stated mine was not quite perfect I was immediately offered a complimentary dessert, which was excellent. My husband was more than satisfied with his 'special of the day,' smoked haddock, which was perfectly cooked and ample size, just right for a lunch.We were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary but will definitely go again.
