Mogul Tandoori in Colchester

I had a very long day at work and was just very unbothered to cook at home but I really wanted a curry. they make the best chicken korma honestly. the workers are very nice and would definitely will order again!

The food is good but their time managment is the worst ive EVER had at any takeaway. Even calling ahead to place the order takes ages when you get there....ive never been in and out in less than an hour (& I only order for 2 people!) Unfortunately I will be going elsewhere as its happened way too many times now (most recent when I turned up at the time they told me and I still had to wait 30 minutes in addition to the 40 minutes they told me it would take!)

The best Indian takeaway around! yes they had their ups and down but i just reordered from them after declaring not to eat there and i might start coming here again.

Honestly was very cautious of coming here with my sister but i'm happy i did i came down to meet family and was looking something to satisfy my hunger and cravings happy i came the did forgot my salad but i asked for why they never gave it but they seem to have a misunderstanding and gave it to me so i was pleased if not the salad it would've had 5 stars.

I have enjoyed food from here for over 15 years, now and again. Have tried others, but this is the Indian I prefer and return to. Can honestly say never had a bad curry.

Where do I start? Absolutely awful Indian. We were customers here for over 20 years however they let us down, badly. They frequently delivered lemon tasting rice rather than plain boiled rice, being told to just get free rice on our next visit, fair enough. Next visit came, didn’t get free rice.Another visit- ordered a potion of chips, did not arrive and called and were told that this would be added onto our next order. This meal was the worst I ever had and has stopped me from ever going here again! I didn’t want to order again and because I asked for a refund for the chips ONLY which were not received they did not like like this and become abusive down the phone saying we’re bad customers, they hung up. They begun shouting unprovoked saying we would not get a refund for the chips. We reported to trading standards at this point as the abusive communications were completely unprovoked.A few days later at 10:30pm when my children were in bed there was several loud bangs at my door, it repeated in an aggressive way so it was ignored in fear. Money was put into an envelope (£2) and said it was from them.Now to talk about their food. The curry’s are oily and tomatoes are out of a tin. The chicken is nothing like it used to be, the last straw was having pink chicken that caused me to vomit. There’s a reason this place has had a low food rating!Eat here at your own risk but this is a warning.

It was the best indian takeaway in Colchester, Been going here for over 20 years , Last night put in an order for over £35 On the menu it says orders over £15 delivery free. But they said no it's £2.00 for delivery. When I said.why does it say it's free and he just said don't have it and hung up. With that attiitude they will no longer have mine or my families custom.

Good food, reasonable price and delivered early. Will order from the again.

Not good at all. I live very close by and have seen the chef smoking in the kitchen over the pot he was stirring!!! I would not buy from here ever.
