Ocean Fish Bar in Colchester

Wish i could give them zero, who in 2021 doesn't take card payment... obvious tax dodge. I was starving hungry after a full day of work, ordered my food to be told it cash only. Pay your taxes and let me use a card you fraudulent a-holes. Very, very unhappy, super hungry and unimpressed by this company. Don't use if you want a company that pays taxes and keeps the NHS going.

First for fish & chips in Colchester they have supplied the Belle Vue social club regularly of late and cannot fault the service and quality of the food Would recommend to everyone👍

Food here was outstanding , moving away from Essex many years ago ,I just had to get some savloys because where I live I don't get them .

This place sells the best fish and chips in Colchester. I received a portion of fish and chips made freshly. Service nicewas excellent and very welcoming would recommend to anyone who hasn't tried 10/10

This use to be one of the best fish & chips shop around this way, but of late it has gone downhill, chips either undercooked or overcooked and fish very dry as if been in fridge or freezer a long time, might have to start looking for new chippy around this way

Improved marginally after a recent refurb.Haven't had the fish yet, but the chips do appear better than about 6months ago.I think people need to physically tell them when something's not right...It's the only way they'll get back to how they were back in the day.
