Oh My Cod in Colchester

A fair place for the money you paid and a delicious food.

I helped my daughter move into her new house in Colchester, but we didn't have time to shop. No problem, we found this take away 400m away, and got amazing fish & chips with sides and drinks... £31 for six tired and hungry adults, more than sufficed. They do kebabs as well. East Euro staff really friendly and helpful. We will be regulars!

A girl does love a good fish & chip supper every now & again, it is after all a British traditional dish to have, especially on a Friday evening.Do bear in mind that this place can get really busy at times & you may have to wait due to its popularity!!Having said this I'm not surprised as the food is absolutely delicious! Like Oh My Cod level, see what I did there, LolI highly recommend you go & try their fish & chips. They do lots of other items from kebabs to the battered sausage, so there is quite a range of items on their menu. Just had food delivered, I'm very happy amazing quality, cooked to perfection with brilliant portion sizes I recommend getting your food here !!!thank-you oh my cod for a delicious meal!!!

Love the fish and chips, but they really need to do something about the drivers. Placed my order and had to wait 30 odd minutes for streams of uber eats and just eat drivers to be served ahead of me. I dont really mind the drivers per se they are doing a job after all, but they should show some consideration for people that actually turn up to buy, who are also pushed outside in the freezing cold, while the drivers stay inside jostling for position. They should have a separate counter for drivers and proper customers.

From a £20.00 Order the only thing edible was the 2.30 sausage. the chicken wrap smelt off and have never had chicken taste like 3 day old bacon before. The chicken wings and chips smelt and tasted like they had been fried in oil that had not been changed for nearly a year. this is the first time I have rated anything below 3 stars but what a disappointment. Good luck to anyone trying this food in the future. YOU WILL NEED IT. What a waste of money

We just ordered from here, delivered by uber eats, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality! Chips great, fish good, battered sausage good, kebab great flavour. Good portion sizes. Only down side is everything was a bit greasy but what do you expect from this sort of food!!

Best chicken kebab in Colchester easily! Good value for money as you get a lot of kebab for what you pay for. The fish and chips are also as good as you’d get my a Yorkshire seaside town! Staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face! It can get quite busy, however it’s expected!
