The general consensus seemed to be that quality of the cheese and toppings was higher with Papa John's, but the quality of the sauce and crust was higher with others.

Came down for work from cheshire got 2 pizzas for 20 quid the staff were friendly and the food was great would visit again

I ordered a Half and Half Pizza.As my wife's eats Meat , and I'm a vegetarian.So when I take my side of the pizza. I noticed bitten into a chunk of ham. I felt sick , and couldn't eat it.Called up Papa John's Colchester. Was told this happens. Not in our control. As how we add ingredients.Totally unbelievable , and after hearing he's excuse. I decided not to order from Papa John's again. Shouldn't put Half and Half on the menu. As a vegan will end up with Meat.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery, received a cold pizza. When called the restaurant, the manager flat out refused to speak to me. They are happy to take your money but if something goes wrong good luck trying to get in touch.

Called PJ after the app didn't work. Asked for a delivery and the chap asked me to clarify my request and hung up on me?! Spent 20 minutes processing an order online, thought I'd call direct and was mugged off. If that doesn't speak for a brand I don't know what does.

Ordered a deal package on JustEat and the Hawaiian pizza gave me horrendous food poisoning meanwhile the other pizza's were fine (we ordered Hawaiian, AtM, Chicken Club and BBQ Meat Feast.)First time this has happened to me with any fast food chain, and with recently moving into the town, this left a majorly poor impression on me.Avoid the Hawaiian.

Papa John's Braintree is probably the best pizza I have had. From the fresh light pizza base followed by the lovely tasting tomato sauce, cheese and outher toppings. Cooked to perfection. I will never have a dominos pizza again. The difference between the two pizza places is like day and night. If you haven't eaten a papa John's do your self a favour and try it, you won't be sorry.

We have ordered many pizza's from here and to be honest never had a bad meal, sometimes you have a wait a little while but nothing thats an issue. All fast food deliveries are the same. People describe the pizza as dry but I like that they are not full of grease and fat like other leading pizza companies.Good pizza, Good sides, Good value, Good service.I think people need to be realistic in their expectations
