We have reason to travel down from Norfolk to Barkingside every so often and always stop for lunch and drinks here. The staff are very helpful, the food always good and there is always a busy atmosphere. Recommended.

This place surprised me. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

Aw wow, we went in this restaurant and it looked just like a milkshake bar, couldn't see any food advertised, but when we sat down and the menu came over wow what a choice of food ,we was gobsmacked, came out totally stuffed with splendid food, a must go to place.

My hubby and I went for breakfast this morning. The best ever hash browns I have had, mashroom was delicious and eggs done just how I like them, and presentation was terrific. I would definitely come back again the best breakfast served in Ilford. I will be recommending to friends and family too also the atmosphere and cafe is so relaxing, nice and clean. Love it 😘

Nice breakfast, although as compared to prices they charge, portion sizes are a bit on the small side ...other than that, Nice place to have meal.

The staff in Rowan's couldn't do enough in making sure we enjoyed our lunch. It was busy but staff made a point of checking out food was good and if we needed anything else. Great variety of delicious food at competitive prices.

I've had breakfast here on three occasions and have enjoyed it everytime - good quality ingredients, cooked well and presented nicely. The decor creates a relaxed, comfortable environment and the service is always with a smile.

Came here a couple years ago and there was basically one vegan item on the menu. Now there are so many! Great to see the change, and the place is always clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming of children. Portion sizes could be bigger for the price but the food is always great.

Nice bistro. My son enjoyed his breakfast. My wife enjoyed her eggs on toast. But my shepherds pie was bland and too watery. There was no thick gravy and the meat tasted like it was boiled. It was a hospital meal not what I expect in a Bistro. I did tell our server Anna but I still got charged full price.Anna was excellent with her service with a smile, she is a credit to your business.
