My first visit to this lovely cafe which has a surprisingly large number of tables. Friendly, helpful service and despite it being a busy Saturday lunchtime, our food didn't take long at all to arrive. The food was really good.

Really good food, had the brie panini and the burger, one of the best burgers I’ve tried in a while, really succulent.

·

Best cafe in Colchester!! Always having the best brunch here. Service, environment, washroom, food and drinks here are all fantastic.

·

Not a bad spot for breakfast. Delicious milkshake and eggs Benedict! Good value for money and the staff are always polite.@spiffingtravels

Went there for brunch with some friends and the food was delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would love to come back and try something else next time👌🏻

Good food, polite staff. Tho was a delay in ordering due to being very busy as I went there at noon. But the food was worth it & loved the chicken & bacon baguette. If you don't mind the cold, sit outside as it's quieter.

Lovely place, friendly staff and delicious food. We’ve had a very tasty and filling breakfast, a great start of day :-) :-)

Wonderful breakfast at Sip & Tuck on Saturday morning, when we arrived there were several people getting take-out breakfast and coffee, there was a lovely buzz about the place. The staff are amazing, especially the owner (Matt I think) who is full of energy and really passionate about the place, the service and the food they send out.We had French toast (delicious) and the Sip & Tuck full English which was very good indeed. The sausages and bacon were good quality and cooked to perfection, the eggs were done just right and the homemade hash browns were an absolute revelation (I had to ask how they were made), I've never tasted hash browns anywhere near as good as these. Mushrooms were fine. Beans were standard but great on the lovely slab of sourdough. The only disappointment (which I mentioned and we had a conversation about) were the tomatoes which was half of one of those tasteless orange ones, rather than a lovely ruby red vine tomato which you expect these days when spending £10+ on a lovely breakfast, if I'd known I'd said hold the tomatoes and ordered an extra hash brown.Drinks were great, lovely flat white, juice etc.All in all a fab experience and would highly recommend and will be going back. Well done Matt, all the hard work is definitely worth it, great place, great team of people and fab food in lovely surroundings. Just need to moan to your supplier about sub standard tomatoes and then it will be a perfect score.

Chanced upon this place when we were looking for a quick bite after just arriving to Colchester. Service was great, we were ushered to our table in the courtyard fairly quickly and our orders taken. Not too long after, we got our coffee followed by our food. We were very pleased, food was sooo good and we will definitely be back when we’re in the neighbourhood! Big thanks for the super friendly service!

I absolutely love Sip & Tuck! I've been a few times and the quality is always consistent. They do amazing food. It's well portioned and of high quality. Their coffees are great and they offer a selection of non-dairy milks too. Their staff are always friendly and down to earth. Definitely worth a visit 🙂
