Southern Fried Chicken in Colchester

Was there for us when we really needed a kebab, healed our souls in that moment was ready so quickly typing this as I’m done inhaling a donner and Chips love these boys xoxo

I went to an event in Atik a couple of weeks ago and at the end we walked over so we could grab food. My friends and I called a taxi which we were not told the number plate for. When looking for our taxi, a man pulled up and claimed to be a taxi driver but told us his strange rule that only one person was allowed in the car despite having a four seater. We thought this was strange so we didn’t get in. He turned out to be a delivery driver for this particular chicken shop. When I confronted him and the store owners, they just laughed it off when he was acting a serious threat. This review is mostly a warning for young women to be wary and stay away. I’m already in the process of communicating this experience to the women’s union in the University of Essex as we were all quite shaken up.

Keep ordering rice with chicken they send me fries and sometimes not even the chicken. Dead takeaway

Food is good, only complaint is the prices have gone up but yet the portions of meat in kebabs and wraps has gotten smaller.

Got deliveries from here over the past year, had a few cold orders however ordered tonight after not using for over a month and I have to say the food was absolutely beautiful and fresh and come piping hot.

Best chicken in Colchester. Arguably better than KFC, always juicy. Secondly the pizzas are incredible, and very generous with toppings. The staff always listen to requests and they are the most polite takeaway staff I have ever spoken too! A hidden GEM!

well the food is always nice and hot and very tasty. however we have had a few occasions where they have got the order wrong like tonight, But I cant fault the response of the manager whom I believe took my complaint, he apologised and sent a new order out straight away...great service xx

Myself and my partner ordered from JustEat from this takeaway and we were very disappointed. We hadn't had a takeaway for sometime.My partner had a pizza with large chips and I had a burger with large chips.The pizza was overcooked and tasted disgusting and the chips didn't look like a large portion either. The burger was tasteless spoilt with a thick layer of chilli sauce which just spoilt the burger completely.We will not be ordering from here again.

I will give 0star if I canStaff is polite but food is horrible.Ordered mix kebab, 2 pieces chicken and 8hot wing in the shop. When I left I ask staff if chicken and hot wing both in the bag as I only got one box. They said yes, when I got home, it is not surprised that hot wing is not in the bag. Ring back and they said they can deliver to me.There is no chicken doner in mix kebab, lamb shish smell like moldy, doner has no taste.Ask for leg for my chicken but I got breast, no taste as well.When I got my hot wing, I really can't stop laughing as I never had hot wing like this before. It basically just fried wing with chili powder on it.Definitely not go there again.
