Starbucks in Colchester

Well the coffee is good. Shame that they do not accept cash at all. Seem bit discriminatory in this day and age. No information displayed about this so you will only find out after you have waited.

My friend and I grabbed a quick coffee and was served by Emma, she was SO lovely and talkative. Really made our day!!

Toilets were vile. Had to use mens as womens out ofOrder. Pretty sure they haven’t been clean in weeks: not properly anyway.Sugar station messy and empty (no white or brown sugar) messy floor. The cake counter had dirtyGlass. Soooo many dirty tables with empty cups and plates, yet three staff standing behind counterWhen there weren’t any customers and just giggling together looking at a mobile phone.Upstairs, loads of groups of teens without drinks. Just chilling like it’s a student canteen. Quite intimidating when I went up to use loo. One of the upstairs booths occupied by a snogging emo couple. Very odd. Coffee was ok but wouldn’t go back again as I believe their hygiene standards are poor.

The hygiene in the Starbucks was poor. The ladies toilets were unavailable so my wife had to use the mens. The floor was covered in what I hope was water, there was no hand soap and the general cleanliness was gross, clearly it hasn’t had a good clean in a while.

On a busy day not great for prams as the internal seating area is to narrow. Service is fantastic and the coffee is as you would expect. We cleaned our own table and for the 45 minutes I stayed no tables around us where cleared.

Worked over Xmas so wanted a tasty coffee and relax at 0715 in the morning.Took a book as well to kick back and loose myself....However, the music is truly horrid and way way too loud, especially at this time of day.Starbucks should be universal in its clientele not just a college hang out/young person meet up.Hugely off-putting, that I put away the book and left.A shame as the coffee is nice and the staff are helpful

Starbucks.... Not so bad. We order 3 coffee it's just amazing

Everyone is so sweet! Fast and easy service! Lots of seating on the main floor and upstairs! Perfect place to go to get work done while enjoying a coffee with a pastry!

One of my best experiences at Starbucks in a long time.The member of staff was super helpful and very informative. We asked her about a drink we saw online and she managed to recreate it for my friend.The waiting time was not bad although there was some time wasted as they had gotten 2 of our names wrong and so we didnt get the drinks on time. But that's not a problem as the overall service was amazingThank you to the kind members of staff and will certainly be visiting soon.
