Great real ale selection in this cozy, welcoming pub.

Nothing fancy, old local pub, to have few drinks in before the night starts, it is an efficient pub with variety of drink options. I like the beer called "Camden Town"

Quiet and friendly local pub with an excellent selection of cask ales and a real fire to warm up next to on a drizzly February afternoon.

Good choice of real ales plus bottled beers, gins and tonics etc. Not too crowded. New upstairs function room with covered balcony. Food served - see website for times. Brewery trips also organised plus quiz nights. Be useful to have a handle to help maneouvre the steep front steps

Thank you for making our move so stress free. You were both so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for you both. We were amazed how quickly we were in situ at our new home. I will certainly recommend you to others.

Lovely place, smart indoor seating and a nice new little roof terrace, too.Really nice landlord and bar staff, great selection of ales and beers/lagers as well as wines and spirits.Shame we're only visiting the area or it would be a local for sure.

Great selection of beers although a little on the pricey side. It's a small dinky pub with great modern character. The only downside was that the menu had the old prices on and boy have the prices gone up in a short period 👀
