The tasty kitchen in Colchester

Leaving the area soon, so will be missing the only good Chinese delivery service in Colchester. Ordered most weeks over the four years we have been here and never disappointed.

I experienced the delights of Wivenhoe Kitchen whilst at a yoga retreat. I am Vegan and so was thrilled to have a fully vegan menu to choose from. The salads and soups were wholesome, healthy and tasty, and the evening meals of curry and veg lasagne were really delicious. I was so excited by the fact of having vegan Naan bread too! All the sweet treats were really nice and also healthy.I would definitely recommend the company.

Persuaded Wivenhoe Kitchen to come and cater for a yoga retreat . Definitely lived up to expectations - lovely lunches of soups and salads, evening meals included selection of curries, veg lasagne as well as tasty desserts and snacks of fab flapjacks and brownies . Managed to cater for all including special diets - seemingly effortlessly and usual smiley delivery .

Lovely food but picks and choose when they want to be open. Supposed to be open on Thursdays, Fridays and over the weekend however this isn’t always the case. Phone just keeps ringing and ringing when you hope to make an order

Couldn't disagree more with the comments from pl p. All 3 of the Wivenhoe Kitchen Ladies are very friendly, polite and engaging! Nothing is too much trouble!! I'm not vegan but have sampled most delicious delights on the menu, and am very partial to the Brownies, Rocky Roads and Flapjacks!!!Of late I've been indulging in the various burgers and salads, all of which are good value for money. You can also get a cold water or tea and coffee. Excellent food, excellent staff!!!!!

I absolutely love Wivenhoe Kitchen!Everything I have bought from here has tasted delicious ….my special favourites are the sweet potato burgers. and the desserts, which are all scrumptious!It is really brilliant to know that all the ingredients are fresh and seasonal and healthy. Bev and Julie are consistently welcoming and friendly and they, and Wivenhoe Kitchen are such an asset to Wivenhoe!

Saturday lunch from the Wivenhoe Kitchen has become a ritual. Really good tasty food at amazing prices. Check out the burgers - different recipe every week and every week just as good. Can also recommend the brownies.

Working very locally to the kitchen, I know the ladies to be lovely, we often chat and have a laugh, never have I heard a negative response to these lovely ladies.I've also enjoyed samples of the food and purchased many dishes all of which have been very tasty but my favourite is definitely the burgers, which I often have on a Saturday lunchtime.Lovely ladies and great food, keep up the good work 👍

Hello am Joe from the Microgym Wivenhoe and I have been relying on Wivenhoe Kitchen for my weekend lunches and burgers and lately the onion bhajis.All the meals mentioned and the others they prepared are so healthy and high in fibres and I would recommend them to be included in your balanced diet.It's been a while now that I have been a big fan of the plant based/beans burgers and they are out of this world and will never buy my plant based burgers anywhere else.Lovely Bev and Julie are always happy to help with a great big smile on their faces.A 5 star for Wivenhoe Kitchen ....Please don't stop cooking.
