Vinny's in Colchester

Discovered this little gem when craving a cooked breakfast. The staff here are amazing, very friendly and really lovely to talk to. I have eaten out in similar café environments or the more expensive restaurants but this is the only place I have really felt like the staff care about the customers and I can't praise them highly enough.The food was gorgeous too, my cooked breakfast was extremely hot, not at all greasy, very tasty and the portion size was perfect, lots of it! Great cup of tea to accompany it too.I am not ashamed to admit I came back the following two days and wouldn't choose anywhere else for a similar meal in Colchester. Fantastic place, clean and tidy, prices are very reasonable and extremely welcoming and friendly staff.

I haven't eaten at Vinny's in years. Was the first time I took my daughter there. The food was lovely and the 'Gutbuster' (plus hashbrowns) defeated my boyfriend haha. Decent amount of food on your plate and the salad with my scampi with fresh and crisp. Was lovely. Would eat there again.

Vinnys can be found on the outskirts of town. It's clean which for a Greasy Spoon is a start.Pretty good service and the food was alright.It's a bit on the expensive side. Maybe cus we are from the North I thought until you go into the town centre and find all other places doing all day breakfast are a tad cheaper.Decent anyway.

Came in today with my friend and my children my eldest of which has adhd of which I explained and apologised for his behaviour it wasn't exceptable and I was trying my hardest to calm him down whilst apologising to the other customers which were in their what I found completely disrespectful humiliating and out of order is your server saying to me under his breath that I need to control my child better when questioned to repeat himself he replied with it doesn't matter I am left shaken humiated to the point I was in tears with anger as I left.If I could give 0 stars I would

It's kept clean and nicely cooked basic food. Reasonably priced, table service.
