Apsley Fish Bar in Dacorum

We used to get our food from here most weekends until things changed.Build your own kebab what that all about. 2 or 3 times now we have got home and there something missing from our order...... this time the pitta bread for the kebabs and for 2 medium kebabs over £18. We have ordered a small chips before and get charged for a large. If we wanted a large we would of asked. We will not be ordering from here again.

This the first time we have used Apsley fish and chips .The fish was reasonable but the chips were plentiful but left a bit to be disiredThey were like eating rocks.Shall give them a wide birth in future

Has gone down hill and now when you order a kebab you get chicken and rice no nan and salad in a tub so not only did I have to use wraps from my own kitchenSo I had to assemble my own dinner and it cost my over £16 for 10 bits of chicken some rice and a small pot of saladI will no longer go there completely disappointed

Very nice family run place. Really sweet to my granddaughter. Delivery not so good .

I had an amazing service with great food. I will definitely go back there again.

I have eaten here many times and is usually great but tonight I ordered from them from Uber Eats and the food was delivered a lot later than the estimation, chips were stone cold stale, and were like eating mccoys crisps. They also forgot to send one of the drinks from my order. Really disappointed.

So disappointing food turned up an hour late, cold and sub standard. It certainly wasn’t helped by the restaurant lying to me several times about it being on way when the driver told us the truth.

Had a fresh tasty good old fashion shish kebab from here today. Living in North London we are spoiled with so many kebab houses but I can say that this one is as any. ! PS the home-made chilli sauce is amazing. Thanks guys

Would have been a 5* except half the order was missing so I had to travel 3.7 miles back to the shop to get a fish.They did put in a rice pudding on the house but as I'm diabetic it went in the bin. After all the extra running around my fish had got cold along with the chips so it ruined the meal.

The best takeaway i have had in ages. Their chips are lovely and i had the kofta it was beautiful. It came with rice, and salad. Honestly will get from here again. I am a food blogger and critic so believe me when i say it is great
