Fishnchickn in Dacorum

17 quid for chicken burger n chips and 10 nuggets n chips with a portion of onion rings seemed a little steep but was willing to be won over by generous portions and food above the cut... Tiny fillet in the burger with very little taste, the chips were soggy and poorly cooked and not to mention the tiny portion for almost 3 quid.The nuggets were nice as were the Onion rings but I'd expect nothing less for the price.Hemel has far better options for way less money. Avoid would be my advice ;)

Chips are awful ….why don’t you make a fresh batch every time rather than using old cooked chips that are soft and soggy.I think the chips need up grading

I live minutes away from FishnChickn but...Here's the thing, This restaurant is about 25% of the time Perfect. So why the other 75% of the time is it so bad.I really don't mind paying for quality, but I'm not willing to gamble on them odds.So we've been travelling to other end of town.Oh and just an observation, food and service seems to be alot better when the lady is running the shop.

Overpriced and prices have gone up alot with smaller potions! This is a large! Ashame as the shop looks good and service is okay

Very very overpriced , chips portions far far too big even the regular portion is too big for 2 people they could easily cut portion sizes and reduce prices so much waste it's rediculous

Have had many takeaways from here over the last 5 years and only ever had one that wasn't nice at that was just the chips they tasted weird, but other than that very good quality food

Thank you!Original review:The only reason why I don't give 5 is due to staff tolerating highschool student's attitude that bothers other customers. Including giving them chips straight away when there is a queue way before they entered (though, I'm actually happy about that as they leave at least). The attitude includes them invading personal space of other customers because they can't bother going on the other side of the shot where it's empty, leaving the door open, if you're waiting for your turn to order or pick up your meal, they put themselves in between as a wall (this is why I said, I'm actually glad they get thir chips or whatever they ordered and just leave). And just to re clarify, my 1 star deduction is not because the students do something serious or outrageous, it's purely because of thir attitude that is tolerated by staff despite being close enough to greet each other by name. And i post here instead of filing an complaint because I'm sure nothing will change if I file a complaint but here, at least I can give a heads up for other people to not have thir day, or apatite, ruined because of them, and if possible to avoid hours when school ended for best results

Lovely food, no denying that...., But the prices, WOW, mega expensive !!! This chippy is situated on a large council estate and I'm all for people making a living AND a "reasonable" profit, however if this chippy was to lower their prices slightly, footfall would increase greatly, and there profits would increase, so a win win for everyone ? just 1 more moan, who remembers some years ago we had a potato shortage in the UK and the price of chips increased greatly, BUT when it ended, the chippys FORGOT to lower the price down again, strange that, isn't it 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Got there fairly late (930pm) £3.20 for a large chips!! I would say a regular or even small at most other chippies. The lady had a few bags of chips in the top heated section. She had one bag and added a few from another bag. I did question the size but she said nothing. They were not hot and had to put in the oven to reheat. Not impressed and would never go back. Very disappointed
