Always come to this place everytime I'm in hemal Hempstead and used to love there curry sauce and chips but everytime now I come there its getting worse and worse won't be coming here again

Chips were dry and stuck to paper fish was dry and crispy

Good value, quick and friendly service and lovely food and generous portions.

Burgers were raw, chips were very pale in colour but otherwise just about edible but don't even consider having the veg spring rolls, whatever mush was stuffed in them was absolutely disgusting. Overall a total waste of 22 quid.

Food was great. Cod and batter very tasty and chips cooked just right. 1 star deducted for 10 to 15 minutes pickup time for phone order turning into a 35 minute wait.

Horrible.... Sausage was old and it's like it was cooked then left out then recooked. Chips was a mixture of old and new chips. Avoid... Not nice for a great and easy meal.. Which is generally tasty.. But I will never recommend! 🤢

My first time here:The chips were probably the *worst* chips I've ever eaten. I only just about managed to finish the large portion of chips because I was sharing them with my friend but ended up throwing them away.The salt and vinegar didn't really make much difference either.Cardboardy, tasteless & crunchy but not overcooked.This is my first time experience although this may not be yours when you go there so maybe try it out.. or not.

UPDATE - last 2 visits had really greasy fish, felt like the oil hadn't been changed in a long time. Ordered large cods but all the pieces were smaller than normal.Very good fish and chips, my preferred choice in Hemel. Polite counter service too!

I ordered from here for the first time tonight. The food arrived promptly and hot. Was delicious and not dripping in fat.Delivery guy was polite and friendly. On realising the drink had been missed on the order he said he would return with it. And he was back with it within minutes. Great service.Would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future.

I'm surprised this restaurant has no reviews. The last time I was in Hemel, I tried a fish and chips shop on Lawn Lane which was nothing too special. Since then, I don't know if management has changed or what, but I think this fish and chip shop is excellent. The fish seems relatively fresh (and fried recently), and has an excellent batter. The chips are soft but crisp, and a slightly thicker, wonderful change from other fast food chain chips. Will definitely be going back for more
