Food was average and they can do better fish n chips I’m sure.What saves the day was the stellar service provided by all the restaurant crew. They were attentive, friendly and professional. The restaurant is nicely decorated and food was reasonably priced too!

This is the second time I’ve visited the Marchmont Arms within the last few months and as before it was exceptional. We had a large table to accommodate the full family. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all friendly. I couldn’t fault the service we received from start to finish! All of the meals served were excellent and as before we had no complaints from anyone who ordered. There’s something for everyone on the menu and it was of the highest quality. They also know how to serve coffee properly and we finished our meals with outstanding coffees. We love visiting the pub and can’t wait to come again, thank you!

So good here that we went twice in two days! The roast on a Sunday is great. Went for pork belly and was really happy with how tender it was. Good amount of trimmings too. Potatoes were good but I prefer them to be a little crispier.Had the dirty burger the following day and really enjoyed it. The standard of the burger is good and the bacon really added to the flavour.Shout-out to Demi for being a great host!

Absolutely brilliant place, I've been here more than a few times and they are always more than welcoming. The staff are awesome, on arrival you are always met with a smile. The food is always absolutely brilliantI'll be honest, it's not a place where you'll be amazed by anything special because that's not what they are about. The food they do is amazing, you actually can't go anywhere else to find proper good food with a special feel about it other than here.If you're looking for a place to go on a first date or a date night with your partner, this is the place!To the staff, keep up the good work. You're doing a great job and such a nice place to go

Lovely looking venue, food was good, staff were nice but clearly fairly new as they didn't know the menu very well, how to re-lay cutlery or use the card machine so maybe more training with a buddy system would be good rather than trial and error with no support Infront of customers. Would return as the food is tasty and ambiance is nice for a meal with friends or family.

Overall, this was a very pleasant evening meal. After a long afternoon at the WB studios, this was very welcome for my group of friends. Service was pretty decent and didn't have to wait too long for each of the courses which was good for a Saturday night.

This is such a wonderful place. We had some lovely sides and starters and a cocktail. The bar staff are very friendly and extremely helpful there is such a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a great night

I was recommended this place by a neighbor of mine who said that the food was great. The food was pretty good once we had sent back 2 of the 6 meals to get them re made as the first versions were a little lackluster. Sadly, for the girl who brought us the drinks, the whole venture started with her spilling a pint of drink all over our table. So it has promise and we will be going back to check the Sunday Lunch out. Staff were friendly, venue was classy

Had a lovely dinner there.We decided very last minute to go and the staff was helpful to find us a table.Once we were there, service was great and food was super tasty.Also want to mention that they have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
