Olive Limes in Dacorum

What a find! A fantastic night out. The staff were impeccably dressed and friendly and ready to give advice on choices on an extensive menu. We even received information on where in India our dishes had come from and why they were named after certain places. The upstairs room has an ambience about it which gave the whole evening a really authentic Indian feel. All tables were occupied, but staff served clients discreetly, and without fuss, which shows how popular this gem of a place is in a small town. We can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely love this place but went there tonight for our anniversary bill was just over £80, my wife asked for some water for her tablet and was offered still or sparkling which ended up on our bill for £4:50 more than twice the cost of a litre of petrol outrageous. We’ve had water in there before and not been charged, if a charge is now being added I feel the waiter should have said. We paid the bill and included a cash tip of £8 but sadly won’t be coming back.

Dinner party of six on Monday last, Indian cuisine and service was excellent. Staff could not have being more accommodating. One of the best Indian restaurants around.

We came here last minute with our baby And found them to be so welcoming and excellent service , the food was delicious and would recommend!

Really nice meal out here on my birthday. The upstairs room is huge, high ceiling and amazing tall windows. On a summer evening the room is light and relaxed. Delicious and high quality food with great service! We’ll be back!

I ate here for the first time, last night. What a delight. The restaurant is gorgeous; nicely decorated and with friendly staff. The food was amazing. I enjoyed every dish and can't wait to visit again.

I went there last Monday for a late Xmas staff dinner.We were invited upstairs in a large function room full of the charm of old country's houses/hotels, high ceilings and private bar with its shiny varnished wood counter and the nonetheless shining brass of the beers pumps.We had a set meal and a choice of 2 mains,all served in dishes and we had to help ourselves. So the restaurant staff had it quite easy but remained at the ready to fulfill our needs. But what really stood out was the food. I love food, all food, and I had enough Indian meals in my life to shout if need be that it was the best Indian dishes I had so far. My colleagues presents that evening would confirmed my saying. Both main courses, chicken and lamb of tasted like they had been cooked slowly for a long time, the ingredients thinly sliced, miles away from the often served chunky cut of vegetables pré boiled. Big up for the chefs!

Everyone I met in town, and colleagues who visited before, all told me to I finally I gave in, and am very glad I did.After looking at the menu I asked about another dish I like and if they had something similar. To my surprise, they immediately offered to make it for me. It turned out wonderfully. I didn't expect that kind of service, all I was looking for was something similar.
