Sahara Bar & Restaurant in Dacorum

Not been there in a few years as we moved away from the area but went this week with my partner and we had the best indian cuisine we have had in ages. Service and the quality of the meal were excellent value for money and we'll certainly be going out of our way again sooner than expected to pay them another visit.

Really wasn't happy with my food very disappointed. The sauce was like water no taste at all. We ordered King prawns the prawns wasn't authentic tasted so bad. Absolutely gutted spent money for nothing everything went in the bin. Had to cook dinner at 8pm at night

We booked online which was very easy and quick. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they didn't hover and let us take our time and enjoy our meal, whilst still being mindful of tending to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. I cannot fault the food or the staff, a definite recommendation.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great food and service. Good sized portions. Will return soon 🙂

The poppadoms and accompaniments were not fresh, The main dishes were really lacking in flavour.... it seemed the meat was put in with a ready made sauce, both my partner and i did not feel great the rest of the evening.... won't rush back

Ordered our meal at 7.15pm approx, via UberEats. Initial delivery time was 8.05-8.20, which in itself seemed a longer than usual time. At approx 8pm the delivery time changed to 8.30-8.50pm! I phoned Sahara and offered to collect, but they said it wasn't necessary as our food would shorty be on its way to us. Food finally arrived at 8.45pm, a full hour and a half after we'd ordered. Two lessons learnt - don't use UberEats, and collect, don't get it delivered. Three Star review because the food (when it arrived) was, as always, very good.

I ordered via Uber eats as had a discount code sent to me.I picked Sahara as they were the closest Indian to me so the delivery time was slightly shorter than others.I ordered a mixture of dishes from poppadoms, starters, mains, sides and dessert as well a drinks.My order arrived quicker than expected. The delivery driver adhered to the social distancing rules but was still very cheery and wished me a good evening and that he hoped I’d enjoy my food, which was very nice particularly in the current situation and something many other take away delivery drivers don’t do.All the food was piping hot and the whole order was correct as often when I’ve ordered elsewhere there have been items missing or incorrect which is very inconvenient.The food was absolutely brilliant, so tasty. It looked nice, it was well cooked and made from good quality ingredients. Everything’s was spot on.The best indian I’ve had in a long time, the food, the service and the price as I would quite happily of paid full price if I didn’t have the voucher as it was well it.Can’t wait to order from you again 😊 xxx

Hands down the best Indian food I've had for a very long time. The food was delicious, great quality and excellent portion sizes! Ordered a delivery, food came really fast in half the predicted time. We're very happy customers and will definitely buy from here again, and would recommend Sahara to others without hesitation.
