An unusual metal bar with a massive painting above it makes this an unusual venue for real ales.

My experience in this pub was awful, as soon as myself and my family walked in we felt immediately uncomfortable. One of the colleagues was very rude and unwelcoming to us I don’t know if she was having a bad day or just didn’t like the look of us but we was very polite when we walked in. Then she went on to have ago at my Nan for vaping once which she understood and apologised then the same woman felt the need to come back once again with to doormen to then tell her the same thing when the vape didn’t come out since she apologised my nan is old and very easily intimidated so this did not make her feel welcome at all! Later on in the night my uncle was kicked out of the pub for rude behaviour which is completely understandable however Stephane I believe her name is went on the blame my Sister just because she works at another weatherspoons going on to say something along the lines of “if I had this family I wouldn’t bring them to the place I work” which was extremely unnecessary and my sister has no say in what other people do and it was not her actions this behaviour from staff is disgusting. I did end up speaking to the manager about this which then he apologised but this is not good enough compared to the horrible experience we had. We are just a normal family who went out to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the treatment we received was not up to standard.

Took ages to get served even though the pub was pretty empty. The doorman didn't stand out as door staff they were dressed casually and even had trainers on, never seen such poorly dressed people in my life. Every wetherspoons has a dress code for security, but these guys obviously didn't get the phone call absolute joke !!

Went in for breakfast. To be fair the young bar man was very polite & helpful. A credit to weather spoons. If this review was based on him it would have been 5stars. Unfortunately due to who I guess was the manager I am leaving a poor review. I ordered bacon well done & it came out barely cooked & rubbery. I think the Manager then came over & was very abrupt & rude towards my partner. Won't be coming here again.

It's a Wetherspoons, so you don't expect fine dining. The price was excellent and I could honestly say it did not taste like frozen / reheated food (or whatever is the exact process used to serve a meal in about 5 mins wait). I have paid more for worse food.

Very cheap beer and a good atmosphere same goes for the food the food is tasty and for the cheap prices you can complain I'd deffo recommend the full house just remember to bring you id as there is security on the door but apart from that it lovely and warm well worth a pop in!!

Great pub built in the front part of an old cinema.Mixed clientele when I visited and good range of beers as you'd expect from a Wetherspoon pub. Still selling some great real ales for as little as ÂŁ1.99 a pint so definitely not a massive bill if you're in the mood for a couple.I've included a picture of the waiting room for the ladies as my wife was very impressed with the decor. Tbh the gents is nowhere near as tidy.

Tried out their 12 drinks of Christmas promotion. Some were nice, others not so good. However, I do like the pub, and the night I was there had a good crowd, not too full and surprisingly peaceful. The app for ordering is great too. Also, the staff did very well and were nice. No complaints.

Your standard pub drinks and food. Specilist Ales are very good. An old converted Theatre hall, great old style decor. Been many times to see friends in the area. Good efficient service. Good social distancing if needed. Recommended.

It's a great pub, but I really dislike having my ID scanned on the door. Why do they need this sort of data! Why does a pub need a copy of my picture, date of birth and address! It feels like I'm checking into a high security military site, especially with the bullish bouncers on the door!
