This place is fantastic. The staff are lovely and the food was amazing. I went in to see if they could accommodate me and my family for the evening and they said they were fully booked but to come back later and they were able to put us on a table for 8.00pm. Food was amazing and staff were so helpful

“Sunday roast”… claim it’s bottomless and it technically is but be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes for it each time. Service was very very poor, the waitress specifically avoided eye contact with us so we couldn’t ask her for anything. Her attitude towards us was abysmal. Asked for a simple sauce which never actually came so I had to eat my whole meal without it. Slammed the knife and fork down when I asked for cutlery to EAT. We personally would never come here again based on the food AND the service.

Popped in to basically burn some time and wished we had stayed! Nice modern stylish interior and very clean and tidy. Cider was lush and the staff were very friendly. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

My wife and I visited the Green Man on Valentines day for lunch. We both had a complimentary glass of Prosseco upon on arrival and ordered from the Valentines 3 course deal. The chicken skewers starter was amazing, the food was great and the service from the two guys was impeccable, we will be back asap !!

Had a lovely afternoon tea , well worth the money. Only Downside would rather there was more sandwiches and savoury items , but still very nice x

Went to the Green Man last night with 24 friends and had food from the three course festive menu. Excellent value for money and great service from Steve and the staff. The pub is looking really good since being refurbished during the lockdown

The wonderful team at The Green Man laid on a brilliant Afternoon Tea for our 38 guests. The sandwiches were super fresh and tasty and a huge array of sweet treats were also served. We were allocated a private area which made for the most perfect afternoon. The 2021 refurbishment is fab, so comfortable & stylish. Amy, who handled our booking is unflappable & efficient and her team quietly got on with the job, meeting all our timings and needs. Thanks so much guys! Brilliant value and a great selection of ales on the bar too.

This was my second visit in the last couple of months. My Aunt and I had a lovely meal on Friday. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we forced ourselves to have a pudding. Looking forward to coming on Wednesday with my friend for afternoon tea.

Absolutely gutted. My 3 previous visits here were amazing, always had the rib eye, and never had a problem.A friend came to visit from Leicester, so bought her here for a late lunch yesterday.Unfortunately both meals were horrible.Lamb shank was very dry and literally had to attack it to get it off the bone, mash was a hard lump, and gravy was of lumpy marmite consistency.Horseshoe gammon looked good, but I'd say it had been previously cooked, and heated up, badly, then had a sauce poured over (definitely not a 'glaze' as described on the menu). Also, mixer taps not working so had to pay the extortionate price for a small bottle of coke!!I doubt very much we'll be returning

Really nice decor following recent refurbishment. Had a very tasty and reasonably priced afternoon tea. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Only critique would be the crockery was a bit tired looking, but quality of the food more than made up for it.
