·

Wonderful little village pub with friendly staff and good food and beer. I had the haggis with eggs and chips - and the haggis was real Scottish sourced and the eggs were local farm fresh. Highly recommended.

·

Great local pub and after a 5 mile walk the food portions and cost were great value for money

·

Lovely traditional family run pub with lots of smiling faces (the sun coming out helped!). Excellent well presented pub grub with some great real ales on tap. Highly recommended , and not just for the reasonable prices.

·

A nice local pub offering pub grub and a good Sunday Roast although you need to book ahead for that. Prices reasonable and friendly staff

·

Friendly staff/landlord, lovely pub dogs, good range of beers on tap, decent food and a great country vibe to the pub complete with a wood fire and fireplace and beams on the ceiling, plus beer garden. Good pub for a visit if you're in the village

·

A perfect little country pub. Good beer, tasty food and the warmest possible welcome (despite four unruly children). The abundance of well-behaved dogs is a definite plus!

This is a proper old-fashioned English country pub, in the heart of the village, serving an excellent selection of real pub food which is consistently well cooked and presented. Prices are extremely reasonable. It has a lovely atmosphere, with an open fire and cosy decor. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. Friends from far and wide always want to visit the Half Moon when visiting us and we are more than happy to oblige! We love it!

A great good old fashion country pub with simple but great quality food at a reasonable price. The service is great and the locally sold beet is refreshing on a warm day.

I ordered the Eggs Royal and hubby got the full English breakfast. We had some extras too. I always judge my breakfast from how the eggs are made. My eggs were so well cooked that the yellow just burst from the middle to my satisfaction. These are the best eggs I had so far.Coffee wise my flat white was quite generous and the temperature perfect. This is one shop I would definitely recommend.
