The Treasure House in Dacorum

Excellent Chinese food! We only just moved to Hemel and had a group of friends around for the first time and shared their Set Menu for four and the sweet and sour chicken. We could have done with more spice and chilli next time, but friendly staff and the quality of the food was excellent! Can highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff, big portions, unfortunately only for Collection but food was still piping hot when I arrived. We had the Peking duck, rice, chicken balls and salt and chili prawns. Overall great taste at an affordable price, I will be back for sure!

It’s gave me food poisoning for two weeks I lost £25,000 pounds because I had a very important business meeting I couldn’t do it because I was sick hope you’re happy treasure house

Very disappointed, the standards of this Chinese takeaway have gone down hill!I only ordered 2 items but they have both been down valued over the past year.I ordered a crispy pancake roll and a portion of treasure house chow mien.The crispy pancake roll was half filled and the chow mein has had the quality of the filling reduced!The sliced chicken has been replaced with small pieces of chickenThe sliced duck has been replaced with small pieces of duckThe mangetout has been replaced with peasNo mushroomsNo Chinese lettuceNo sauce, it was very dryI won’t be going back as there are so many other Chinese options on the high street

The food is delicious. The staff are courteous and eager to please. I normally go for the Treasure House Special with rice. It consists of rice, vegetables, slices of meat and big prawns. It's a lot and fills me up. I can't even finish it! You can have the House special with noodles if you want. Try them and you won't regret it.

We like a lot eating out. Last night we arrived in this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful time there with high-qulity food and a well-trained crew and a talented chef. We added this place in our list and we will surely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

Fresh Chinese food, delectable with every bite. Generous portions and full of flavour, they close mid day then reopen later in the evening as they prepare fresh food. The premises itself is hygienic and up to satisfactory.

Food was amazing very tasty ordered and ready in less then half an hour. Staff are very friendly also the open plan kitchen means you can see how the food is cooked and that the kitchen is clean. One of the best Chinese take aways in Hemel. The only reason they lose a star is because they don't deliver but it's worth driving down for. Good quality food.

Visited several times and have received tasty food and one of the best crispy shredded beef dishes in Hemel. There is no doubt that they can work hard on busy nights. I placed a small order over the phone and given a 45 minute pick up time. When I arrived, I had to queue 10 minutes to pay, and my food was still not ready. I then needed to heat the food when I arrived home. I definitely recommend, but also suggest avoiding peak times.
