White Hart in Dacorum

They say never return to the scene of the crime but I did. My first return to the White Hart since 1957 and boy, has it changed! There has to be progress and maybe Marlowes needed a full makeover but I would have thought that the town fathers would have insisted on keeping some of the old Town character. Modernised beyond recognition with a very limited, youth orientated range of drinks although with a bright, friendly barmaid, the White Hart is no more. Sad. I won't be back.

Lovely comfy pub with great range of drinks in Old Town.

Had been to The Marchmont Arms for lunch which was overpriced and average with no atmosphere. Came here for a drink after and it was lovely, nice atmosphere, comfy sofas and great for a catch up with my mate

Love it , good vibes good staff and they have live music 🎶. Can't go wrong

Post covid has made pubs very clean, calm and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed walking in no prior booking and getting a lovely table to the side that was spacious and quiet so we could play some of our board games, we opted for Pandemic due to the irony :) they were out of J2O and overcharged on a soft drink but the servings of spirits was very generous and we were left in peace to play multiple games. If only Covid was as easily beaten / cured!

Great pub, friendly bar staff, nice garden. Shame the drink/beer selection isn't slightly bigger and more varied but still enjoyed going there, would visit again in the future

A nice pub in Hemel old town. Had live music both nights when I was there, which wasn't bad and although the pub was busy the bar staff coped well and I never had to wait for a beer. It was a late night on Saturday, so good place to end the evening.

The best place to go out in Hemel really. Either live bands or a DJ on the weekends. I think it's meanf to be over 21s but varies on door staff. Not too expensive either! Usually quite busy good atmosphere.
