Don't waste your money. Poor service terrible phone manners. Food below average!

I ordered the matar paneer, chicken tikka and vegetable rice. Everything was very disappointing, the matar paneer was sweet and very watery, so was the chicken tikka- the dishes lacked flavor. While the vegetable rice tasted alright, the portion was way too small.

Fantastic flavours, great quality, good delivery. Bhaji starter is really good. Ordered from them a few times as well as eaten in, constantly great.

Ordered online, food was delivered and had been eaten before the expected delivery time-superb service. Also the first time I have needed an oven glove to unpack a takeaway as it was so hot! Can't recommend this place enough. If you haven't tried it you should *****

**RAW / PINK CHICKEN**Halfway through eating my meal I was shocked to see the chicken I had been eating was not cooked properly. I contacted the restaurant about it and they were extremely rude, the man shouted down the phone at me and said that it was impossible and pretty much said I was lying and hung up the phone. If you zoom in on the photos you can clearly see that it is pink, raw/ translucent uncooked flesh in the centre of the chicken. As I had already eaten half of it, I am now extremely concerned that I may get food poisoning. Terrible customer service, not even an attempt to apologise.

Not impressed with their Chicken Tikka. I've tried this dish in various places but this one looked like it's been bought from a shop and just heated up.. I don't think I'll be ordering again.

Takeaway for my daughter’s 21st Birthday on Thursday 3rd September. Really good selection of dishes with plenty of choice for Vegan diets! Really tasty food and excellent value for money. The free delivery and selectable time slot were fantastic extras. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be ordering again.

Ely spice got this quite wrong: I’ve not used them before, preferring Sylhet Tandoori. 2 king prawn tikka ordered - 2 chicken tikka delivered. No major drama, right?But upon calling them to say something about it - we heard someone say ‘oh yeah’ in the background when we reported the wrong ordered. To their credit they said they would replace the tikka. Upon asking what they would do about the rest of the order going cold, we were told not to order from them again. The phone was also hung up on us.After the most underwhelming meal which was re-delivered in its entirety to be fair, the watery tikka masala and dal, I have to say I won’t be giving Ely Spice any more business than this first order and will keep Sylhet as the only worthwhile and quality choice for Ely and miles around. (God only knows what additional bodily fluids they put in our second order but it certainly didn’t help the taste or consistency)

Enjoyed our meal this evening, we had Daal and Naan, then lamb Bhuna, pilau rice and Methi chicken all well cooked and tasty. My reason for only four stars is that I thought the meal came in oven foil cartons not the plastic containers. We ordered early so we could heat up in the oven!

Just had a Take away delivered. Seriously good food, the tea was fantastic, the onion rice so full of yummy caramelized onion, and the matte paneer bursting with cheese and sweet peas.Spur of the moment choice that we will be repeating.Thank you for staying open.
