Ely Turkish Restaurant & Meze Bar in East Cambridgeshire

Delicious! We went as a group of 8. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. I chose a minced lamb kofta, this came with bread, rice, cous cous and yoghurt. It was delicious.

Nice food and the front of house manager is great! I will say that it all seemed a bit rushed and the food could have done with a bit more seasoning - this style of food is by far my go-to and although it had a nice charcoal cooked flavor and texture it was just a bit bland. BUT that said I will be coming back and have no hesitation in recommending this place!

First time visit & it was great. There were quite a few of us & the waiter was great, with lots of patience! Food was good & we all enjoyed what we had & also not overly priced which is a bonus! Would definitely go again.

Mediterranean flavors will satisfy the taste and quality of the food. The pan dishes and appetizers were great.

A great experience tonight, the four of us shared a hot and a cold meze to start before sharing the Ely special.The food arrived promptly with a smile, there was more than we could finish although we did squeeze in a baklava and a coffee to finish. With a bottle of wine and some table water it was only £35 a head which was excellent value for a very meat heavy meal.We will be returning soon. Thank you once again for your service and delicious food.

Food tasted amazing and was great quality. What let that down for us was the service. When ordering the waiter seemed to rush us and push for us to make a choice. Then before I had even finished eating my main was told by the waiter that they would need the table soon. Had been thinking about ordering a desert, but not after being rushed out.We had been seated at 19:00 and barely and hour later being told that they needed us to finish. Considering we had booked a table in advance we were not told at any point that there was a time limit on how long you have to eat you food.With this in mind despite the great food I'm not sure we would want to go back to dine there again.

Amazing food. I always enjoy my visit to this restaurant. The staff are lovely and the service is great. Would recommend to anyone.

Good place to go in Ely, all very good but that's just it only good in my opinion.Service and fresh and quality food it just lacks some authentic Turkish flavour and spice oh and a touch more seasoning.Definitely worth a visit though for sure.
