We recently held a memorial lunch in the lovely little barn just behind the pub. The whole team were very kind and took great care of us through the day. John in particular was very kind in talking my family through possible options to help us decide how we'd like the day to run. I'd have no hesitation recommending them as an event space.

Nice village pub but £4.60 for a pint of lager absolute robbery I will definitely not be rushing back there especially when a pub in the next village only charges £3.30

Just been for Sunday lunch, was absolutely amazing, the roast was great, I paid the extra and had the 3 meats, and I wasn't disappointed. I can also highly recommend the cheesecake. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be going back.

This pub has great food, a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. We brought a dog who was very happy in the bar. Though we didn't sit in it, we had a walk around the very big garden which would be ideal on a sunnier day. Will definitely be going again!

This pub was brilliantly set up for outside eating, with shelter both back and front. The garden had a brilliant climbing frame and lots of grassy space too. The food was tasty with vegan and veg options as well as amazing meat (the ribs where melt in the mouth!) plus fantastic service- Thanks guys for a fab day (we made a day of it)

Some of the best ribs I've had in the UK! They are flavourful and fall off the bone. Staff are really nice and menu is very good value for money.

We had a really excellent Sunday lunch - went for the playground but the food was ace. The roasts were delicious, definitely proper home cooked food. The meat wasnt dried out like a lot of pub roasts and the gravy was amazing - super smoky, which I guess is related to the non-roast options which seem to be largely hot smoked meats. We sat in the grassy beer garden so the kids could scamper about on the playground. And they had Justinian from Milton brewery which always makes me happy.

I contacted the pub before our visit to ask about an allergy query for food and they got back to me really quickly and were very helpful. The food on the day was delicious- we had roasts and some of the more American style dishes in our party of 4. There is a lovely garden at the rear with a new play area which is safe and ideal for children. We are really happy to have found this pub and will definitely return.
