Five Miles from Anywhere No Hurry Inn in East Cambridgeshire

Dog friendly garden in a delightful location on the River. Easy drive to Wicken Fen and if up for a longer walk there are paths from the pub. Staff shortage meant limited table service but we didn't wait too long for our meals.

A very spacious place with lovely views from the riverside dining areas either inside or out. There are lots of tables for bar food and a restaurant for more formal dining.We thoroughly enjoyed our meals from the varied menu which were reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and service was quick. It can get busy so may pay to book ahead.There is live music on Fridays.

Such a beautiful and tranquil setting. Food is great, highly recommend.

This is a big bar/restaurant but somehow they've managed to make it feel quite cosy. It caters for couples and large groups. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is good pub food. We've visited several times and the quality is overall good but can sometimes be slightly disappointing. However, these are exceptions. Their "fish and chips" is worth ordering.The views from the dining area are not only nice but can be rather amusing. Boats moor at the end of the garden and that is not always done as it should. Hire boats in particular often struggle to get alongside the bank.In general, luncheon or dinner at the Fives Miles is recommended.

Worth a trip out of the way for something to eat, lovely surroundings, staff were very polite and helpful. We didn't want a full lunch and the lighter vegan options were a little lacking. However, the chef made us a sausage and onion baguette using vegetarian sausages and it was excellent! Top marks for catering for our needs, I would suggest adding it to your menu or even just putting that vegan options are available. Lots of people search your menu online before visiting and not having much to choose from could put people off.We will definitely be back, especially if you offer a meat and dairy free Sunday lunch!

An absolutely brilliant Pub/Restaurant. Fantastic food which was served quickly, a great atmosphere and view. I cannot fault this place, Well worth a trip for everyone.

Food was really tasty and good value. Good classic pub food with plenty of choice and good selection of special on board inside. Service efficient and courteous. Spacious garden overlooks the river. Despite being busy, the garden felt quiet and peaceful and views along the river are beautiful.

Tried all the pubs and restaurants in this area and this one is certainly worth mentioning! It has very friendly (but not 'false-friendly') and observant waitresses. They were very busy but also very on the ball.Food was spot on and quick. They even have different style atmospheres to suit individual preferences and plenty of room for lots of people. The outside space is scattered with more seating areas whilst having lovely open views of a small marina, and at night time the coloured lights shine through the huge Willow Tree in the centre, giving it a really nice and relaxing feel.I'm sure people will travel more than 'Five Miles From Anywhere' to enjoy what this place has to offer!
