New management are fantastic people and the same service and entertainment with a friendly smile as we have grown to love.. if your well behaved you truly will be made welcome..

Tried going into this pub after a wonderful dinner last night, only for drink night to be spoiled by the bar staff's awful behavior. Not long after getting into the bar our group was collectively challenged by an absurd excuse of something like "we believe you're banned and we don't know why". I was speechless and our group left with a sour taste from a pint of Disgust. After contemplating this denial and a poor end to what started as a wonderful evening, we left the King's Arms and usurped it's crown as our spot and headed to a much friendly vibe of a pub (The Drayman's Son).Long story short, don't go to the King's Arms, even if YOU don't know why, but now we do.

It would appear looking at this week's previous reviews the staff are having a bad week, had some postitvie times in the past however this week the pool table was covered up and the staff were VERY dismissing and rude, with no explanation. Infact we felt personally attacked due to our groups disabilities of Autism, Asperger's and Scoliosis, thankfully we've been welcomed to every other Ely pub with open arms, just not the king's arms it would seem.

Nice small pub just a street away from Barton Road car park as you make your way on foot to the centre of Ely.It looks old and rustic but upon closer examination has recently been refurbished but very well done. Very cleanThe drinks are reasonably priced and the eatery towards the rear was popular but we didnt eat.We would happily visit again should we go to Ely in the summer

Great Pub in Ely. Good beer and good music. You can also watch football here.

Undoubtedly the best pub in Ely, Excellent service from very friendly and caring staff. I was in there last nice to watch the football and it was an absolute pleasure to visit. Very organised and clean with all the health and safety measures in place.

The ratings on Google said 4.1 when we went there but..i think it was a little less.My rating was for the food and i think the day we went, they were quite busy and it took a while for our food to arrive. The service from the kitchen was a little slower than what we would have liked. These were from the set menu. Vegetarian.

A friendly and reliably-tasty option for lunch or dinner in Ely. The King's Arms has a varied menu of pub classics (think fish and chips, pie of the day, burger...) and has very regular live music events (mostly soul, motown and rock). I went with the scampi, and my companion went with the cottage cheese tart (both pictured). The scampi was cooked just right, the tartar sauce was really nice and the chips, while a little big for my personal liking, were also not bad at all. The tart was apparently very nice. The service is very attentive and friendly, and the decor is comfortable (though there seems to be works going on in the back bar area right now). There's also a little car park (pictured) if that's needed.
