Le Spice in East Cambridgeshire

What a place... It was pretty late when we went, no one in but still gave us a table . Even though it was close to closing didn't rush us at all the staff brilliant and the food was out of this world .... The Seabass was to die for just wish this restaurant was in my home town.... Said I was going to give them a banging review and here it is... If you go you will not be disappointed I promise you

Great food, great restaurant but the service is above and beyond for takeaway too, best Indian in Ely for sure. You won’t find them on Just Eat but in my experience, Just Don’t Bother! Just go to Le Spice!

Crowded, noisy, tables cramped. Had a Chicken Jalfrezi which was unusually dry, and a stingy portion. On the plus side the Keema Nan was excellent.

Absolutely brilliant food staff service and value great atmosphere everytime I have been and treated with the highest standards of service I recommend if you love Indian food 😋 this i truly recommend!

Incredible food and service. Certainly one of my favourite restaurants of all time. Price are very reasonable for freshly cooked food using healthy ingredients. Worth booking ahead on Tuesdays and at the weekends as this is one of the most popular restaurants in Ely.

First time visit to Le Spice- food was great but not the price!A lot of curries are cooked in too much oil, making them too greasy. The dishes I tried were cooked to perfection, and with the minimum of oil. This meant the food was more tasty and actually had some different textures to it, rather than a puréed mush. I had garlic chilli vegetable curry which was very nice. I've just started eating more vegetable curries and this was the best I had tasted. The service was good but in my opening sentence- the price was a fair bit more than what I would expect to pay, but the flip side is that the food was good.

Awesome food and super friendly. Ordered the poppadoms to start, a good selection of dips and vey tasty. Had a chat with the waiter about the difference between the Dhansak curry near where I live, versus here (they are better here!). Onion rice was very tasty with a mix of sliced sauteed and fried onions. Dhansak itself had a great mix of flavours, good heat, tangy, touch of sweet, perfect. Had a good chat with the owner afterwards who is obviously passionate about his food and also ensuring his customers are happy too. Best curry I have had in a long time, third visit, it won't be the last.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Amin is a great host. The curry was excellent. Wonderful evening all round

We always passed by the restaurant and were curious about the food, due to be very fussy with our food. 😌😌😌😌 OMG staff very polite and friendly, the food was 🤯excellent 🤯🤤🤤🤤🤤 we had a lovely night out. Looking forward to our next visit to Le Spice Indian Restaurant in Ely.
