Montaz Bar & Restaurant in East Cambridgeshire

From all mains, Tika Masala dish was the top scorer on the table, never had it soo good. All food well presented and tased top quality. Service is amazing and fast.

We were lucky enough to secure a table at last night's "Flavours of East India" a one-off event showcasing the cuisine of Michelin trained chef Saurav Nath.The menu was delicious, well balanced & gave a great cross-section of dishes. The Railway Aloo Chop Chat being a particular favorit.The staff were also excellent without being obtrusive & ensured that the evening ran smoothly.I have already suggested to friends that we attend the next one!

The food was delicious and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only suggestion I would leave is to make the menus with bigger writing because the lighting is low as it should be, but the menus are hard to read! Loved it, will go again and highly recommend.

Well what can I say one of the best Indian meals i have had in a long time. Very friendly and a warm welcome would recommend to anyone. Will return the next time I'm up that way.

Top rated Indian menu, not the average standard dishes but more adventurous sophisticated and tasty dishes in the style of haute cuisine. I am a big fan of Indian food in general but this place is a cut above. The staff are friendly and attentive and the tables are placed comfortably apart bearing covid in mind. Prices a little higher than I am used to but well worth it. A very enjoyable experience, I would definitely visit again next time I come to Newmarket.

Charged me £18 for a king prawn dahnsak. Lentils were not properly cooked either and were hard. Had to buy rice on top which means curry and rice is nearly £22!!!Tasted nice but sorry that is just extortionate for a takeaway.

Fantastic! Probably the best takeaway food we have had, full stop. Yes, it’s expensive, but every single dish we had was out of this world. Even the ‘staples’ like biriyani and the butter chicken were remarkable. So worth the modest premium.
