Possibly the most unwelcoming pub I have ever been in... They really seem to hate kids! There is a paragraph at the bottom of the menu saying how they don't like children but if you must bring one, you're going in the back. We were even told off for using the front door as they don't normally let children use that entrance. The food was a mixed bag, the burger tasted pretty good and service was super fast, while the jalfrezi had a chemical taste to it and was not good. It also said that they were all homemade and to expect a wait but they arrived within about 5 mins so I expect that's not entirely true. The young girl behind the bar was nice at least and the pub itself is nicely decorated.... Not enough to save it though. I would avoid this pub and drive another 5 mins, plenty more good option not far away.

Rooms smart with modern ensuites bathrooms.

Great food and service in a lovely village pub atmosphere.

Very good cozy pub with good accommodation and great food, friendly staff, and a top quality chef.Rooms are small but functional and very clean, everything you need for a short stay, I will say that the room can get warm so opening a window is recommended, and the fridge can make a noise but obviously can be turned off at your convenience.Food is a standout here at the Bell inn, with pub classics to some more adventurous dishes for those wishing to indulge, a good selection of vegetarian dishes as well, and great selection of drinks including ales wines spirits and ciders.

The Service we received from Sami “The Best Barman in East” and his team was exemplary. Great food and drink, honest and knowledgable with recommendations to suit your taste.8 lads, turn up on the hoof, no booking, and Sami accommodated us expertly. The guy was just wit and charm personified all night, and we were well looked after.Would recommend and will visit the Bell Inn again if ever in the area.

Had a fantastic stay and food here. The room was immaculate and the food was amazing. All the staff were also really friendly and helpful, especially Maggie. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Many thanks

Lovely place, hotel rooms very impressive, food delicious, price not the cheapest but not over costed as well. Maybe just would be nice to have drinks menu as well but apart of that would say 9.5 from 10.

My husband and I stayed here last night for our anniversary. Our room was warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. We then went round and had dinner in the restaurant. The food (all 3 courses) was delicious and the wine was very good. The staff were very friendly and we had a lovely evening. We will definitely return.
