Had fish and chips a few times, chips are generally undercooked or have the odd weird tasting one, battered sausage is like cardboard, not fresh at all and no crispy bits.Portions are hideously large, a regular chips doesn't fit on my large dinner plate, sadly as much as I like to support local, Rumbles in Exning has much better fish and chips with better consistency,

Such a small shop, but amazing produce. I hope they become bigger and better as they have some nice delicate fish and a load of chips.

The kebab van at the working man's club is better. The service here is not very good you can be in the queue for a long time before you are asked for what you would like (so not very efficient). Wouldn't recommend.

Not sure if was just because it was badly wrapped or poorly cooked but the chips were glued to the cod batter and I ended up with fish flakes instead of a whole fish. The skin of the fish was stuck over 1/3 of the chips and the battered sausage was also covered in fish skin and flake. Not the greatest fish and chips but when you are starving hungry anything will do.

Slow.... Slow.... and oh did i mention.. SLOW.Called in for a quick simple sausage and chips for lunchtime.... took about 20 minutes... As nothing was ready.Taste ok but there must be better around.1st time... and last.
