The Black Horse Inn in East Cambridgeshire

I stayed overnight here whilst visiting Cambridge. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent - I opted for the lamb shank and it was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone. My only disappointment was the beer, I only had one pint but it wasn't at its best.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and proper home cooked food. Rooms were very clean, and plenty of space for 1 night. Quaint and peaceful location

We had a lovely stay for one night with our dog at the weekend, we were made to feel very welcome from the beginning!We had dinner and drinks which was all reasonably priced, with brilliant customer service! We couldn’t wait to go to bed after a long day and we were not disappointed by the room! It was well equipped, clean and the beds were super comfortable! Especially the pillows!The landlord and landlady, and the staff are incredible and couldn’t do more for us!We will definitely come back!Thank you!

I am staying here while working a contract in New Market, very nice accommodation. Excellent breakfast and dinner with a large range of beers on tap and bottles in the fridge. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere. Quite a wait for food but it's worth the wait. Reasonable priced as well. Very welcomi g couple who run it.

This is also a B&B with great rooms. Nice pub/restaurant. The mature couple who run it are very nice people. They made us and our little dog very welcome.

Very clean and comfortable bed. Good shower. Nice local pub with wholesome food. Breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked. Made us and our dog very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful landlord and staff. Overnight stay whilst visiting relatives - would definitely stay again.

Andy and Mo are definitely really warm and friendly people.We had a peaceful night sleep and a really good breakfast.Me and Luísa honestly recommend a visit.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Accommodation was perfect, food was perfect and the hospitality given by Andy and Mo was 1st class. They were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. 5☆ plus. Trish, Pasty and Aaron who travelled from Cornwall.

Had a really nice cheese ploughman's lunch. I'm sure there will be those who would want 2 different cheeses but it was just enough for me. I will say the roll was small and disappointing tho. Only had a lime and soda so can't comment on the drinks. Staff were nice.
