The Chequers in East Cambridgeshire

Ordered a curry, naan and onion bhaji's ; it's really tasty.Portions are generous and I've finished every bite. The lady who collected my food from the kitchen was very friendly and welcoming too.Ordered a few times over the years and has never disappointed, felt compelled to leave a review it was so good!

This has turned into a great pub/restaurant. Really great staff, great atmosphere, and through covid restrictions they have worked so hard to make you feel safe. I loved the outside dining, bring it back.

Wow. This place is great! Staff were super kind as well. I had the tikka chicken and it was so good. Would definitely love to come back. Thank goodness I am walking distance. Lol. Atmosphere was awesome as well.

Stopped on the off chance, Saturday night, they were pretty full, but they found us a table for 2. The food was really very good and so much of it. They were happy to box up what we couldn't eat.

The food and the service was simply amazing. The young lady behind the bar was friendly and helpful. The food came out well presented, freshly cooked and piping hot. Has to be the best Indian meal we have ever ate. Would not hesitate to visit again or recommend

This place is back! We stopped going when Ian left because the quality of the food went down and they had a really rude staff member. So we wrote off our favorite curry place..... Was really devistating.... However we heard Ian had popped back to fix things! This place is now by his son..... And Archy can cook just as good as his dad! The quality and service is back to where it was! Can't wait to go in for a proper meal!

Great service. The waitress was friendly and engaging and is an asset to this restaurant. She offered a warm welcome and great front of house service. The food was good. Not greasy and very tasty. Reasonably priced too.

We had dinner here last Saturday for a birthday. I've ordered and made tandorri chicken before but this meal was by far the best I've ever had. Truly outstanding, even down to the onions. Plus, the cake was just as wonderful. Staff were friendly, conscientious with all the COVID changes and made us feel very comfortable. Well done guys.

This is a curry restaurant not a pub with a jazz theme nice place you can just have a drink! I've never eaten here so can't comment!
