I visited with my family for Easter Sunday lunch and wow 🤩 absolutely delicious food!!! Staff were so friendly and always there to help or answer questions. So lucky to have this pub on our doorstep. Can’t wait to return.

The Sunday Roast was excellent. Lamb perfect, crispy roasties and lots of veg. Reason for dropping one star was the coffee. The cappuccino was so small and luke warm, the latte glass was only just over half full and again luke warm. Such a shame.

I have been coming to the maids head for about 7 years. In that time I've eaten in and had lots to drink. I can say that I've always had a pleasant experience and it's for that reason that I will come here many more times. There are two sections of the Pub one for eating and one for drinking. On sunny days the garden and the front of the pub are beautiful places to sit and relax and take in the busyness of Wiken ;) The carpark is small and can get full quickly. There's not a lot of parking on the side streets

Warm welcoming staff, dog friendly, prompt service and great food. It was a little cold inside could have done with the heating on otherwise a great visit.

Went for Sunday lunch, really really good. Even the kids cleaned their plate. The meat was really tasty, the best restaurant roast potatoes I can remember eating and really good veg. Good portion size. It is really busy on a Sunday and like everywhere they are struggling for staff so be aware they are rushed off their feet but they are really friendly despite this.

Stopped here the night as the pub is part of the Britstops scheme. Very welcoming host and friendly customers, excellent food in the bar where our dog was welcome. We had a nice quiet night in the car park. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

We have not been to the Maids Head for a long time. Great food, great value! The service was outstanding. All staff were so friendly and professional. Table booked next week.

This place was ok. The staff were great, great service, big smiles, very attentive. The food for me was quite expensive for what it was. I've paid less for gammon at others places and had almost twice as much as I was served here. The desserts came out luke-warm. Kids stuff was fairly priced however the beef burger probably should be called onion burger with a hint of beef!! It is probably the sort of place that would be better for a sandwich after a walk around the fen land at lunch time.

What a beautiful place to eat and drink. The staff were fantastic. Food was well cooked and well presented. Covid safe environment. Seating outside or in. Inside tables were completely cleaned and disinfected after each customer.
