Best pub in the world. Run really well with great beer and is the centrepoint of our village. To top it off Bev opened up early on our wedding day in June 2017 and I got to have a beer before the ceremony, something I'll always remember.

No kids, no play areas, no food, no "riff raff," NO hassle! Just GREAT bar service, fantastic landlady and staff. A relaxed, friendly atmosphere with really nice customers. It's a jewel in the Suffolk landscape and the pulsing heart of a beautiful village. Just how real village pubs used to be. I'm so glad I found it. It reminds me of my local, back home in Warwickshire!

Nice toilets, rest of the pub stuck in the 60s and not the cool and groovy bit. Has ridiculous £10 card limit (hello 21st century calling) forced to buy "tokens" to get over the limit, meaning for a pint and a J2O I was had to pay over £13. Unfriendly staff. Beer not well kept. Will not be going back EVER!!

The Tharp Arms is just lovely. It has a very nice feel and atmosphere when you walk in. The staff are very friendly the beer is cool with good selection. And same eith wine and soft drinks They have nice outside space to enjoy your drink in the sun. They often have open Mic nights and various things going on. Would highly recommend this pub.

A really nice local pub! There's a large spacious car park out back. They do have a beer garden which I think sometimes get's forgotten about. It's often used for their music events held throughout the summer. Another popular place to sit in the evening is directly outside, as this is where the sun sets. It's not a massive pub with a massive range of alcohol. I think sometimes forget that this is basically the countryside and one of three amenities in this village. It's all too easy to be spoilt by Cambridge pubs. The locals are friendly and so are the landlords. Somethings are OK being what they are and in this case it works well!
