Unexpectedly lovely place. Accidentally stopped at the village and found really nicely renovated pub. Stopped only for a coffee and soft drinks, but definitely going to go back for dinner and check their food. But coffee was very delicious, exactly how I like.

Super Mother's Day lunch - The roasts were amazing and the service was spot on. The kids were given crayons to keep them amused and I won a bottle of wine in the Mother's Day golden ticket draw. Perfect lunch, superb value. We will be back!

Excellent Sunday lunch as usual at the blackbirds. Great for the family, beautiful pub, good food, good service. What more do you want

To be honest, I did not try it. I want it a breakfast and the price where a bit much for breakfast. My conclusion it a posh pub with really spencive food and very little customers, to be honestly it's not many other places around, really. I wouldn't pay £15 for a breakfast that's just read over my face; you are a mug.As simple is that it could be great for food, but not for that kind of money, inflation got us all.

Fairly good food, but not brilliant, and far from great value. They clearly have a high volume of guests, so on a Sunday lunchtime I would expect better quality roast potatoes, not ones that seemed like they had been hanging around for a while. Three small ones per guest, very small jugs of gravy, etc. It all felt a bit penny-pinching for the price. £5 per bottle of sparkling water, too. I feel a bit harsh giving them only three stars as the service was friendly and helpful, but for value for money I wouldn't rush to return.

A lovely country pub, nicely restored after a fire some while ago. Friendly staff; only called in for a pint or two, a little pricey but well worth a return visit. The food is reputedly very good but I have yet to sample it.

Stayed here for 2 nights, The rooms are very high standard & clean with a modern feel. The pub itself is great & has a lovely atmosphere. The food quality is very good & well precented by professional staff. We would definitely recommend.

Really nice dog friendly pub and restaurant, with nice and helpful staff. Food was great and good selection of wines, beers, and spirits. Worth a visit and remember to book to make sure you get to eat here as it does get busy.

Beautiful food and amazing rooms - really nicely finished, and so cosy in winter. Think the best tables are downstairs if you want a pub feel and upstairs if you want more of a restaurant feel.
