Can’t fault the service or the staff, that part was very good but the food was terrible. Spent £40 on a sharer and two mains. The quality of the food was edible but not brilliant. We left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. My wife was sick when we got home and I felt unwell too which we can only put down to the meals we had as we hadn’t eaten before we went there. We won’t be recommending or going back here sadly.

Great food, great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive. Very busy at times which shows how popular it is.

Great friendly pub, very friendly staff, good selection of beers etc. Danika the bar manager goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Would recommend a visit when in Newmarket.

Yes was good, friendly enough service. Put up with us for long enough, served us well. Little too quiet but it was a weekday.

One young barman let the whole side down, he was to customer service what piles were to a jump jockey. We shall never be back , party of 6 heading to any other pub where we can get better service and value for money.

It's not often that you go out to eat and it exceeds your expectations. The White Hart in Newmarket achieved this unexpected feat. The food was well presented, looked fresh and tasted great.Hats off to the manager, chef and the pot washer (if they had one).A special birthday celebration that was made even more special by the service we recieved at the White Hart. Many thanks and see you again soon.

What a thoughtfull kind touch and very appreceiated. You will be seeing us again.Thank you so much , you made our day.

A very popular pub in Newmarket with a hotel as an added bonus. Ideally situated if you are having a night out with friends with Heaven and Innocence unless the name has changed again over the road. Great selection of beets and spirits and great food too. Loads of great sport to watch on the TV too but unsure whether that's BT Sport , Sky Sports or both.Well worth a visit anytime.

I highly recommend this pub/restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, easy to book our Christmas party, very well organised, accommodated for all our dietary requirements. Attentive to ensure everything was alright and give the right time between courses. Food was taisty, hot and good portion sizes. Staff were very helpful, friendly and they had plenty of staff on making it quick and easy to get drinks. Live band on the night was excellent and gave a great atmosphere.

Pleasant weekend stay here with B&B.Booked a 'Family Room' which having glanced into a couple of others in passing was a good decision since the extra space it afforded was welcome. The en-suite bathroom was more than adequate with a decent enough shower above the bath and large fluffy towels provided. A hair dryer was eventually located in one of the bedside cabinets.Easy check-in with very friendly helpful staff who warned me my room was above the bar and function area where on the Saturday night a disco would play until 1am. Yes it was clearly audible but not as bothersome as the sounds from the High Street outside where revellers could be heard well into the early hours.Lovely views out of the front windows of the Jockey Club HQ on the opposite side of the street. Tattersalls saleroom is located just down the road from the hotel in the direction of the railway station. The hotel itself is about a 10 minutes walk from the railway station so really no need for a taxi unless it's raining!Breakfast is served in the bar and I pre-paid ÂŁ8:25 for the full English which includes Juice, Croissants, Cereal, a large 'fry-up' as well as Coffee, etc., this I considered offered good value. The bar itself is quite busy during the evenings and offers a good selection of food and drink at reasonable prices with a 20% discount on food if you show your room key.In summary? A very pleasant weekend stay in a lovely part of England with many interesting things to see and do all in relatively close proximity.
