We've been here a number of times before, and travelled far to get here, but our most recent visit will be our last. Reasons below (I must add that the staff came to us as we were leaving and asked us not to write a review in exchange for money, which we declined)- we ordered a minced chicken with basil dish. But chicken stir fry with rice came.- I told our waitress, and she tried to convince me that this is what minced chicken is in Thai. I showed her the picture in the menu against what I ordered and confirmed that it's different. She took what I was served away- I was then served another chicken stir fry dish with slightly smaller chicken pieces. I told the staff about this and said that I was unhappy but by this point my family had almost finished their meals and my baby was due to finish her nap ready for us to leave. So there would be no point ordering another meal which is what they offered- I tried to just eat as much as I could of what I had been given but it was unfortunately not great tasting, it was pieces of chicken and green beans in soy sauce. Even though I was incredibly hungry I just couldn't bring myself to eat it all. Thankfully my husband swapped the little he had left with me.- The bill came, and I mentioned to them that I'd expect to not be charged for the meal I was given that I didn't order and didn't like. To which I was told I should be happy that I wasn't also charged for the dish I was initially given. I was very surprised by this response.- nevertheless we paid but took off the service that they'd added to our bill (the first time I've done this in my 37years, we normally always do 20%)Taking the service of triggered a strange train of events where they followed us to the door trying to give us money in exchange for a promise that we don't write a review! We declined of course.Other things to note.- they've reduced items on the plate from the set menu. They used to have a little salad that came with the platter, which is now not included and the portions are MUCH smaller- we've been visiting regularly over the last year and have noticed that in the last couple of visits we are the only table for a 1.5hr lunch time visit on a Saturday! Evidently others are having similar experiences...Or.. they've found alternatives like us, I've heard there's a giggling squid close by.. much better quality authentic Thai food!Sorry to have to take one off of our list but it's not easy spending hard earned money somewhere where they clearly don't value our custom

I always try to visit this restaurant when I visit Stortford. The chief always cooks your meal to your taste; if you like hot and spicy just ask. The waitresses was excellent. Price reasonable. Give it a try.

Great place - seemed to be very authentic Thai cuisine and lots of it. Wonderful food - great service from Dan and the team - not too pushy but does close at 10pm on a Tuesday at least. Brilliant

Today we went to Baan Thitiya for the first time. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and amazing value. The restaurant is clean and the staff very friendly and cheerful. We will certainly be going again.

Very nice food with very polite staff and nice customer service, my partner and I really enjoyed a cheeky nice night out. I only managed to take 2 photos but rest assured the food was DELICIOUS πŸ˜‹

Nicely prepared food, good selection of dishes. Warm friendly staff. Small car park but offer takeaways too.

Went by chance as they were one of the only thai restaurants open for outdoor dining before the COVID restrictions were relaxed. Service was great and the food was some of the best thai food we have had (didn't take photos of the mains as we were too distracted by the great food!). Will definitely return.

Takeaway disappointing. Β£17 for the golden treasure starter that had me phoning the restaurant back as I thought that my treasure had been raided on route.Kio Krob contains a miniscule amount of meat and charged Β£6 for this.Had to reheat all dishes as cold - not the restaurants fault but I can't help but feel disappointed with the quantities and quality. What a waste of money and I will be reverting back to giggling squid for my thai of choice - no price difference but far superior in flavour, quality and quantity.

The food was amazing and overall we all loved it. The chairs were not that comfortable, and for someone with fibromyalgia it was difficult to be comfortable throughout the meal. However the rest of my family were okay so for most people they would be okay. The waitress was lovely but kept filling up the wine glasses which was so nice but one of us was driving so could only have one glass, so be mindful of this! However those are just small things, the staff were so kind and helpful and not overbearing. The food was absolutely divine and presentation was beautiful! The food came out very quickly and was hot and lovely, the plates were hot which we really appreciated as it kept the food warm. They were also very happy to accommodate us having all the food at the same time as only half of us were having starters. It was also very good value for money, and we took at least two lunches home with us because we over-ordered a bit. Also an important note for allergy sufferers, my sister is very allergic to nuts and Thai food usually has nuts in but they were so lovely and very organised and ready for allergies. Their menu was very well coded for allergies and none of the food we had was contaminated by other nut dishes. The parking was on site and very easy and there was enough space for three cars (all of us) when we went, which was amazing. The atmosphere was good, but because of the closeness of the tables and the acoustics of the room sound travelled really easily. However overall it was lovely, cosy and close. So overall only a few small issues but the night was lovely, the food was yummy and the staff were perfect!
