Gourmet Breakfast : Re cooked & cremated bacon really bad just completely hard with a burnt taste, sausage was dry and tough like it was re cooked as well, tomato’s raw, only thing worth eating was the hash brown and even they where soggy eggs where cold

I probably look like ‘one of them customers’ but the staff clearly don’t listen, order messed up, actually acted like it was my fault when I corrected them.Order still came out wrong, told the waitress who took it back and then yet somehow still managed to bring it back, wrong, over cooked, basically threw the original wrong order together and tried to correct it badly. What’s so hard about making a panini. Left after paying for £40 for food we didn’t eat.As a basic skill, learn how to listen!!!Really poor- won’t be back, this place used to be alright.

Soooooooo slow. Only one person taking orders AND making coffee (very slowly). Two other staff milling around tidying pots etc. 5 people who were queuing walked out while I was queuing, a group of 4 people and a woman.Won't rush back.

Coffee was niceA large selection of food on the menuThe food sadly took 30mins to come, people who joined after us served first. The server came across rude, the only words from them was ‘panini’ when they severed our food.Talking of fillings, you don’t get much :(Plenty of places to eat locally, I would suggest trying other places within the area!

Really poor - a not especially busy Saturday afternoon - very slow, a Tuna melt that was cold, a cold teacake with a sparse dab of something on the top. Avoid and go to the excellent Welwyn Garden City Cafe.

Terrible flavourless coffee, they don’t know what a flat white is and their coffee is so weak it’s hard to tell there’s any in the drinks they serve anyway. The place has the ambience of a whetherspoons.

Extensive menu and fresh ingredients. Venue has a lot of indoor seating and a couple of tables outside. Food prices are quite expensive though and gentleman taking orders is very impatient - if you tell a customer you have run out of an ingredient, at least give them a chance to trawl through the blackboards for an alternative especially if they have a food allergy instead of tapping on the counter.

Best cafe in Hertford. Friendly staff, good coffee and affordable full English breakfast that hits the spot.

Incompetence has a new home. This is not a case of not having enough staff as we reopen... this is a whole new level of ineptness. Loads of staff, none of whom can clean a table. You have the young guy behind the til who can't tie his own shoelaces. There is a woman wandering around behind him scratching herself over the food and hanging off the foamer. The service is unbelievably slow and when you do get your food, it's the wrong food and completely tasteless. Avoid like the plague.

Very average food for the price. Baked beans on the big breakfast were warm, nearly cold. Hash browns were soggy and eggs Benedict was on bread rather than toasted muffins. Not likely to be back. Sausages were SO hard and had a thick skin around them as if they had been cooked earlier and reheated in a microwave.
