Blind fiddler in East Hertfordshire

Went to try their famous Smoker plater and have to say it’s the best thing out there you have to try it and manage to finish it is a challenge!!Excellent service and a real country pub atmosphere

Good pub with good beer and food.July 2022, just had a week at Anstey and used the Blind Fiddler for food and drink, here's a bit of an update and I can honestly say the pub has been superb, the owners Barry and Emma serve fantastic food and very nice real ale, the beer garden out the back of the pub is great and has well spaced tables with sun umbrellas for shade. Barry and Emma are very friendly and chat to everyone and make sure everyone is happy and catered for, would highly recommend for food and drink.

Called in today after completing a 10 mile ramble. Perfect after a long walk, very friendly lady behind the bar. Although they weren't serving lunches today as they were awaiting new supplies after the New Year, we were given a huge bowl of cheesy nibbles on the house. A delightful pub, very clean with a log fire. I'm sure we'll pay a return visit soon and sample their lunch menu. Many thanks.

This is a nice little country pub.Service is very good (the woman at the bar was really nice), the Christmas decorations are very nice (specially the Christmas town they have built up), and it is very cosy.The Sunday Roast was delicious, it tasted like homemade, but the starters were quite poor. I would say they should improve the product.

Delish roast beef dinner. Hubby had a special burger that was huge, also delish, daughter had a vegan burger & fries which she thoroughly enjoyed. Very friendly staff & dogs are allowed.

Wow..we had the smoker. Absolutely perfectly cooked, so tasty, very highly recommended. Really friendly pub, lovely people and dog friendly too, so that's a big bonus. Thank you for a lovely meal and friendly evening.

Lovely pint and the food was outstanding, very friendly lady behind the bar, couldn't do enough for you. Looking forward to eating at the Blind Fiddler again, lovely place to visit. Food five stars.
