Bombay Spice in East Hertfordshire

If I could rate this place a 0 I would, but I can’t, so it’s a 1. We have ordered here multiple times before, but this time 2 of our korma curry’s had black hair in and the plain rice as well. When we called, the manager was extremely rude, he laughed and told us the chef didn’t have any hair so it couldn’t be theirs, I suggested it could be an animal hair and he had a fit, we were discussing a refund but he interrupted us and said he would send 2 more curry’s and hung up, we have thrown them away as we both feel Ill, won’t be ordering here again.

Hair was found in 2 separate curry’s, and in the rice. When calling to ask about it they were rude and said that it wasn’t from them as the chef didn’t have hair and laughed. Won’t be ordering again :(

Best indian takeaway in a long time

Best Indian in our area. Anazing food great flavours. BRILLIANT. Delivery perfect.

Have had takeaway from here several times. Food is always delicious. Comes in good time and with good sized portions. Thank you!

This amazing takeaway has been our favourite since we discovered it last year. We've never had a bad experience at Bombay Spice! The food is not only delicious but the portion sizes are great too.

I've just ordered from bombay spice for the first time and have to say 'wow'. The driver was very polite on arrival, the food was outstanding and the flavours just melt in your mouth. The chicken tikka pathia was 10 out of 10, I don't usually order from here. I will be ordering again from now on!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Worst Indian I have ever had. Both me and my partner had our usual, and not nice at all. Not only did we not really enjoy the food, the driver was rude and continued to hold the door buzzer down until I got to the door, very annoying. Then went on to blame it on how hard it is to find our address? Will not be returning.

Good indian food

At time of review, this is my favourite take out Indian in the area. The quality of the food is excellent. I am yet to have one bad meal or been able to pick holes in one. I eat a lot of Asian cuisine and regard myself as well experienced to comment on it, and Bombay Spice gets the thumbs up. The only issue I have is on delivery. Ordering via Just Eat I have waited an hour beyond quoted time, but I believe that this is down to their success. If you can, pick up at peak times. Have also had occasion where the order has been incomplete (naan's missing on more than one occasion). Try, you won't be disappointed...
