Recently moved and this is our new local chippy, good selection available and lovely chips everytime , big portions too

Great food, always hot and fresh. Their batter is the only one I can eat, others are fatty or make me bloat. Lovely staff. We have fish & chips every 2 weeks and it's the best.

There is a minimum payment of £10 to pay by card, we only wanted two portions of chips but they insisted and said we could take out cash from a nearby co-op. I can’t imagine in this day and age how any business could insist on only accepting cash unless you spend more, especially as businesses have a responsibility to encourage contactless payments to keep people safe from covid.Not only this, but the chips are very mediocre and half of the portion was just scraps. We had to get fish cakes in order to get the order over £10, but regrettably they were bland and generic.It was a really disappointing experience after seeing the positive reviews.

Visited today, lovely food! Wasn't greasy and such lovely fish. Whole family enjoyed. Will be back

Lovely fish & chips, fair price, rock cooked to order, very nice staff

Staff was very welcoming and friendly with smiles on their faces. Food was fresh, delicious and perfect. The hygiene levels were exceeding standards with no fault. Overall very impressed and will be coming back to get more tasty food.

First visit today, mainly because they're open Monday lunchtime. Reasonably happy with the meal - chips are not bad, not the best I've had, but passable. Reasonable value for money, but do need to up their game on social distancing. The customer area in the store is small and there's no control as to how many can enter. Will be back again.

Overall very good. Generally the chips are very good and the fish very good as well, they also do pies and mushy peas. The staff are nice. I would have awarded it five stars but the food can be a bit inconsistent, some days the chips might not be crispy, but never bad.
