Nice atmosphere and the Sunday lunch tasted great. Despite that, the beef slices were rather fatty and we were granted a discount after bringing this to the attention of the manager. Horseradish and mustard were brought quickly. Staff were excellent and allowed us plenty of time to peruse the menu. The Merlot was excellent too. Would have been a 5 apart from the poor (but great tasting) beef.

Really lovely pub and food. The atmosphere and menu were great. They had fab vegan options (although I wish the portions were slightly bigger)! Unfortunately we are too far away for regular visits but would definitely go again if we were nearby!

We could not have been more welcome. Everything was perfect as soon as we walked in the door. The man who took our order was friendly, cordial and very pleasant. The food was excellent. One of our party was taken I'll but the man was very understanding. We would recommend this pub to anyone who wants a good meal and friendly atmosphere.

We love this place. Staff are on the ball and very welcoming. We are slowly getting through the menu with each visit and have yet to have a bad experience. The food is great, affordable and the whole place has a really positive vibe. The beer garden in summer has helped us break up the WFH monotony on many occasions! Lovely to have this restaurant so close to home.

Superb food, good beer, very friendly and helpful staff, easy to get to, and lovely ambience. And very importantly for us, dog friendly, with the staff happy for us to be indoors at a normal table, rather than just stuck in the bar area or outdoors.Well worth a visit ❤

A lovely pub with a great atmosphere. We had three Sunday roasts (one lamb shank and one beef) which were excellent, came with a good variety of vegetables. The only slight criticism I would have is that the food could have been hotter. My son had the chicken pie, which he said was good and the best out of the pubs we have been to. The staff were very attentive and there was no waiting for anything even though it was a busy Sunday.

Excellent experience at this lovely homely pub! We had a party of 45 for a special family celebration, the staff were so accommodating, relaxed and welcoming. Service was great and they managed the ordering and delivery of all our food so efficiently! The food was delicious and we would definitely recommend! Thank you so much for making our party so special and being the perfect venue!

The best roast I've had in a long time - potatoes were just the right combination of crispy and fluffy. The staff who served us were attentive but didn't rush us, even when it began to get busier.Highly recommend and I'm looking forward to a return visit soon.

Came here with 5 others for the first time after a walk by the river. Lovely, tasty food served by friendly and efficient staff. I had the chilli chicken salad and biscoff cheesecake, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing. Will come again.
