If you order from this restaurant ... We can actually feel the food is literally from our country... The way they prepare food is resembles like food we prepare in our home ... Sorry to say that starters are some what disappointed but rest of the food is very delicious and hygiene.

Chicken dansak is the dish I use to gauge the quality of any Indian restaurant. Last week I had a chicken dansak, pillau rice, and onion bhaji from Spice Hut. I have to say it was superb. I've had hundreds from restaurants everywhere and this was one of the finest. Not only that but my partner who doesn't like Indian food said if onion bhaji's were this good everywhere, she'd eat a lot more Indian food. Thank you guys. 👍

One of the best (or potentially even the best) curry house in Hertford in terms of food quality and flavour. The service was also good with great recommendations from our waiter, Sani. I have eaten in and had takeaway several times since the restaurant was taken over by new owners and every meal has been excellent. Would highly recommend the Lamb Chettinadu and the hot sizzling Nawabi although I am yet to find a curry on the menu that I haven't enjoyed!

Great little authentic India restaurant. Came across it by accident now my favourite Indian the the quality does not match the appearance the most amazing flavours made to order and, I loved it.they have on the menu. The choice on the menu has a great personal family feel to it, not your normal simple list. Nice little place and the quality you'd expect from a much larger lavish. Well worth a visit for those who love real food

Looking a bit shabby inside these days but food is still excellent.

Ordered a delivery from the restaurant to be told 45 minute delivery, which was fine, after 1 hour and 20 minutes we called to be told it should be here and they arrived minutes later. The food was cold, the lamb was so chewy and tasteless we couldn’t eat it and the potatoes in Bombay aloo were black!! We phoned to complain only to be told nobody else had complained, we won’t be ordering again!! The worst Indian we have ever had!!! Would have given it zero stars if I could but can’t post without putting a star!!
