Fish'n'chick'n in East Hertfordshire

Don't rate it at all. Roast chicken has always been really dry every time i have had it- they must sit around in the cabinets for a long time! A lot of the food is hit and miss, ribs can either be tender and very nice or completely dry, tough and not much sauce on them, the fish can be nice but again on several occasions the batter has been soggy. The chips are probably the best thing however they too can also be soggy or you end up with the last scrapings from the chip pan- not very nice. On the plus, the staff are always very friendly, polite and helpful but overall i think you can get fish and chips better elsewhere

It's an excellent chippie with long opening hours for those that can't take a lunch at normal timesFish and chips here is excellent, half a spitroast chicken is also a very good and great value option. On side note the ribs here use to be generous and decent price but over the years they seem to have increased in price and shrunk in size?Anyway it's a very good place, staff seem to be a changing group of school age youngsters serving and they are always polite and enthusiastic as well, so really well done.

Nearly 4 stars the chips are quite soggy but still taste good I will give you some advice for the chips and that is to put them in the oven to crisp then up and the chicken nuggets are like god himself created these there so good also the mozzarella stic’ are pretty good 3.7 out of 5

On-line ordering an absolute joke. don't bother using it, got order wrong, then lied on phone about ordering system working okay , when in shop they admitted it had got orders wrong earlier in the week. Queried what we had paid for-no chips- having paid for them. Had to go back to shop with original order to get chips(what sort of system do they have!)In shop the staff were okay (a little defensive) , by then the initial order had gone cold and they did not replace it! Will not be going back. Cannot recommend and would advise some customer service training for staff!! Would give minus/no stars if I could!!!

Pre ordered on the app, arrived 5mins after the collection time but had yo wait 25 minutes for the food, the staff didn't seem to knowwhatthey were doing & very chaotic. chips were all stuck together & the fish wasn't particularly hot, worst fish & chips I've ever had. Just have to add, I live in Cambourne & use another branch of Fishnchicken & have no complaints with them.

First class chippie, great tasty food, big selection on display. Can't beat spit roast chicken, & size of fish portions. Fast efficient service Can see why this place is so popular. The only criticism is so many staff serving never sure who's serving me.

Really nice, fresh, hot and tasty food. A great shame that no member of staff greeted me for a good 5 minutes. There were around 6 or more members of staff, all chatting and laughing amongst themselves. Extremely poor customer service.

Lovely fish n chickn just like the sign says. Massive queues mean nothing to this super fish supper emporium. They blast through customers at an astounding rate, all of them leaving with bags of glorious fried delights. I recommend the half a chicken and chips meal, my son likes the ribs and my wife is mad for the scampi.

Friday night lockdown fish and chips at fishnchickn.Thorley. social distancing queuing or click and collect. Very helpful staff 8 young ladies I can see preparing orders very good service and even all wearing facial coverings you could see there smile.😷😃.
